As for any comparisons to Stephenson, Satele said: "I give my respect to him knowing that he was the best center there ever was in Miami, and to stay with the same team like he did is my motivation," Satele says. "I'm real eager just to look forward to the season and look forward to my future with the Dolphins and stay here forever. I want to be here forever because it's like Hawaii with no mountains."

I hope he comes into his own in the nfl because I would love to have him on my team for many years to come.

Stephenson is arguably the best to ever play the position. Between Dwight and Jim Langer, there is some great history at the positon in Miami. It's really not fair to compare him at this point. It really would be the same as comparing Beck to Marino.

It would be great to have stability at the position. I would be ecstatic if Satele can play at the level of an all-decade player like Dwight.

Satale has basically three things in common with Dwight, Will be a dolphin drafted second round and plays center. At this point there is no other comparism. Please its almost insulting to bring this up at this point in his career.
All they did was talk about toughness, that's all. That's not an insult to Stephenson, but a compliment that Stephenson was tough. Unless you are saying having 6 root canals, practicing that day or the next and trying to hide it is not tough?

And Satele showed the ultimate grace and honored Stephenson with his response.

I agree. Dwight was one of the greatest Center to play this game, that's a mightly high mountin to climb, and way more pressure then any Rookie should have to handle (Almost as bad as comparing Beck to Marino...hope that does not happen anytime soon).

Just prove to be a good Center, and everything after that will take care of itself, you do not need to perform like an all-world HOF center.

Im saying that Satale has not proved to be any where near as tough as Stepehenson, not a knock just a fact.

ESPN Draft guide compares him to Kevin Mawae.

The opposite is also true. Without playing a down, it's kind of early to be passing judgment on the abilities of our players, no?

Also, if having a quarter of your teeth drilled on and showing up to work all the same doesn't quantify tough to you, I'm positive your S/M room at the house is absolutely insane.
