Ok, if he was as bad off here as he says he was he should have just come out and admit defeat. That he was not cut out for the NFL etc etc etc and go back to Luisiana with his tail between his legs for a year, as punishment for his poor judgement in accepting the job here in Miami and not wanting to stick it out then, take another college position.

i'm not mad cuz he left it was the way he left. it's not what you do it's the way you do it.

I am a Dolphin fan from 1970's and in all my life I have never seen a more cowardly exit in my life.
I travel from Virginia to Miami every year for a game. I am amazed that he thinks he's fooling anyone...he quit! I am not hurt by his decision,as I think we will be better off. I just feel sad for him......knowing he hates failing so much....and he will always be remembered as a NFL failure, Unlike Jimmy Johnson that won at both levels.
Nick Saban is not only a NFL failure, He didn't take it like a man. I don't care that Wayne told him "supposedly" to avoid the presser at 10am....he should of taken it like a man.....instead of running out the back door. Don't we deserve that!!!!!!!! We invested in him too. Here is a saying for you Nick
"Actions speaklouder than words."

Didn't you run!!!!!! Coward!

take responsibilty for your actions. don't we teach that to young men and women......or doyou hire others to teach that and blame them when they don't?!

And he thinks he is not going to have any problems recruiting?! How can he sit there and look into a young man's eyes and expect the poor kid and his parents to believe that he will be there for his stay or any other promise knowing it will only take another succulent offer to leave him behind.
There is no way Saban can get away with this 'scott free'. There will be repercussions for him.

Man, that about sums it up. Great post.

I have no issues with Saban leaving, I never thought that he wanted to be here from the beginning. What bothers me personally is the way it all happened. Ive said this on other boards, it doesnt matter what happens in your life, no one can take away your word. Not being believed or trusted is worse than any other thing that can follow your life. Instead of saying he was not going to be the coach of the Tide, what he should of done is just deferred all those questions until the season is over. How can you sit there and lie to your team, your coworkers, your fans, and be able to sleep at night. Pathetic!

If I was a father, I wouldnt want this guy walking into my house trying to recruit my kid. What guarantee would my kid have that he would be there for my sons college career? And eight year deal? That isnt guarantee cause he had a five year deal here, and look what happened. Anyways...Im happy that he is gone. Lets get someone who wants to be the coach of the Miami Dolphins. I just hope its Pioli and Cameron.

hes gonna have a lot of fun reqruiting in one of the biggest high school reqruiting states in the country aka florida what an idiot does he really think anyone in the state doesnt know what he did by now
