the irony in our special teams

when free agencey began and we got off to a hot start signing a lot of people every one was saying that we would have a great special teams and not much else beacuse of the players we signed

true remember the comments about how this special teams would be the best in the league and Ginn would run back about 5 returns lol.

people forget we did similar things the year before like signing special teams ace Cameron worrel. we just need to coach special teams much better and find guys that can fit these roles.

We had a very solid special teams unit early this decade when we had Hendricks as a stud, and other special teamers. While we did not run for a lot of td's, we manage to give our crappy offense some good field position.

I think the Dolphins should seriously consider kicking the ball out of bounds and letting the other team start at their 40. Every kickoff looks like it has the potential of being run back against us. If I were Sparano I would contact any out of work kickers or soccer players and see if they have a strong enough leg to kick it out of the end zone. I am ok with Carpenter's field goals, but we need a guy who can boot it out of the end zone. The other option might be to have Fields punt the ball from the 30 on kick offs and hoping we can maybe prevent them from having a big return?
We are going to lose a game sooner or later if we don't fix our special teams.
