Run offense? Their run offense average 4.0 yds/carry.

Run defense? Their run defense allows 4.2 yds/carry.

Passing game? Sanchez has a 71.2 QB rating.

Pass rush? The vaunted NY Jets pass rush has a measly 4 sacks this year.

There's nothing scary about the Jets. They're probably 3-1 because some lucky fumbles and penalties went their way.

The only thing that I'm worried about with the Jets is TE Dustin Keller. He seems to be having a good year, and the Dolphins seem to have a lot of trouble stopping TEs.

Well, they have a 350 pound beast at NT. They have David Harris and Bart Scott at ILB. Also IMO they have a top 3 NFL corner on their team. Have you watched any of their games? Perhaps try that so a more informed opinion could be formed.

And yet they allow 4.2 yds/carry. We may not have a 350 lb NT, but we only allow 2.9 yds/carry.

The Jets have won 3 of 4 games with a rookie qb, the Phins have lost 3 of 4. The Jets won those 3 games by playing big time defense and not turning the ball over. The one game they lost, Sanchez gave the Saints 14 pts. The Jets held the Saints offense to 10 pts, and if that doesnt impress you, I dont know what will.

If your over looking their D your only mistaking yourself. They might only have a few sacks but since you love stats so much go find how many bad decisions were made by qb's because they have 3 free blitzers coming at them. Find the qb rating of the teams they played. Stats dont tell the whole story.

this may be the most delusional post i've seen here by far. how about wejust go with "overall defense". it's ranked 4th in the nfl in yards. and they're giving up 9 points per game. and maybe you should educate yourself about the concept of pass rush. it's not all abotu how many sacks you rack up. sacks are great. but the idea of a pass rush is to rush the pass. we get tons of pressure on the qb. and we've gone against 3 of the toughest qb's to sack in the leagye and have held them pretty far below their normal production.

i knew some of you guys get it.

the only thing im worried about monday is too many jets fans messing up our orange out and them returning all of our kickoffs. other than that it will be all miami.

y'knwo what i forgot to mention....qb rating? lol. probably one of the most useless stats in sports. if that's how you evaluate a qb then you need some football lessons.

way to go... give the jest fans more stuff to talk **** about, they're annoying the way it is. Just wait till monday to talk when the actual game is on.

those of us who get it are told we arent "real fans" because we dont pick the Phins to go 11-5 or better every year. I know the Jets defense is for real, and I think once they shut down the Wildcat, Chad Henne is in for a very difficult night considering the crap he has at wr.

there's pessimists and optimists in every fan base. i lke to talk crap and all...but i know that the dolphins aren't just gonna be a team that you can walk over without a fight. every nfl team in the league is worthy of your best effort. never take a last place team lightly. unless a teamk is completely decimated by injuries and is fielding too amny back-ups.....then they're a legitimate nfl team usually...and can win on any given sunday. but to come out and say our defense is average and is nothign to worry abotu makes no sense right noe...especially since they've handled every team they've faced so far.
