or so says Omar Kelly on Sedano today.

I dialed up the Michigan Florida bowl game highlights from 08 and while he does make a number of nice throws, I don't know that I ever see the man pump faking, manipulating the safety with his eyes, or simply going to his second or third reads.

Any fans of Henne from Michigan care to weigh in?

he does stare down his receivers. he may have gotten away with it at michigan, but it's not going to fly in the nfl.

Couldn't complete 60% of his passes in his "famed" Michigan career either. For those who thought Penny wasn't a capable QB, who held the NFL record of completion percentage, now we have a guy who only completed 59.7 in college.

I guess nobody looked at Marino his senior season at Pitt lol.
Im also sure that Tom Brady was not the same in college as the NFL.

Yea and Marino could not either. Maybe we can trade for Colt Brennan or Alex Smith who both were able to complete 70 percent pr settle for Beck and his 69 percent. I mean only if Hennecould have completed another .3 percent of his passes

Yeah you tell em, b/c Henne is the next Marino or Brady.

People are actually knocking Henne, when Ginn dropped two balls that hit him in the hands, not exactly receiving great help is he.

This is a knock on a lot of young QBs. In college, you can get by on physical talent. I watched a ton of Michigan when Henne was there and he has a lot of tools but never struck me as a "smart" Qb. IMO, he is the exact opposite of Pennington. This could be good but besides rare examples (Farve for one), non celebral QBs don't seem to last as long in the pros.

It's funny that as Bills fan, we had a Pennington type (Edwards) and Henne type (Losman). If there was only one way to combine them into some robo QB haha.

Just pointing out that was college and he hasnt even played a full game as a pro. Im pretty sure if I had said the same thing abut Brady years ago u would have brought out the same smiley.

his wind-up reminds of a catapult.

Personally, I like the "chicken dance" reference...
