The Last Time Our Beloved Dolphins Won In The Playoffs

For a second I thought this was the '99 Hawks game last game at the Kindom in Marino's last yr then I remembered Lamar Smith....
 
I remember this like it was yesterday. I was ecstatic.
 
oh man after that Bucs game in 00 Fiedler just couldn't throw anymore that year. His mechanics were soooo bad and we were probably better off with Huard at that point. I was a huge Jay fan at the time too so ya.
 
Great memory. Unfortunately, Lamar didn't have a very good game the following week.

Those guys need a bigger T.V.:lol:

Lamar Smith and that glimmer of hope in the Dolphins backfield. When i saw him slice and dice the Colts like that, i thought we finally had a RB.
 
OMG x2--I can't believe I'm remembering this, but that was the day I went on the first date with my future wife (6 years married in Feb). I can't believe it was the same day as our last playoff win, but that's totally right. Our second date was the next day at a New Years party.

Crazy!
 
Lamar Smith really stepped up that game. Carried the team on his back into the next round. Too bad nobody else on that team stepped up the next week-- not Fiedler and not the defense.

He really didn't do as well the next season either. I thought he'd have a decent run with us..too bad it only lasted 2 seasons.

Of course, we got Ricky then, and that was an instant upgrade.
 
I remember no one gave us any credit that year, and we ended up winning the division.

I think most had us finishing 3rd or 4th in the division.
