Coach Houck will put this line together. It may take a few regular season games, but they will start playing as a unit-guaranteed

I really hope that Houck can work his magic with our OL like he did with the Chargers last year. The OL is the key for a great offense.

Something tells me that it may just take about 4 or 5 regular season games before this O line and for that matter the entire offence starts to gel... hopefully we can finish strong like the bills or panthers did last season and make a playoff push..

I don't know maybe we will be seeing this all year. And takes another year to rectify.

that's highly possible.....we, the fans, and the media (well, mostly the fans) have heaped soo much praise on Houck that anything less than having a top 5 OLine will seem like a dissapointment to many.

I'm not one of them as I think what happened in SD was just as much luck as it was coaching. Yep, Houck did a heck of a job coaching a bunch of young guys who hadn't played together before but there is also a little bit of luck in getting 5 strangers, albeit talented ones, to mesh that well together.

I'm hoping we get that same combination of skill, talent, and luck that Houck conjured up over in Charger land.

i hope you're right - because if he can't, then nobody can - i'm starting to wonder if our o-line isn't just a pile of smelly turds

with the excpetion of Carey...I think we do have a pile of turds or more likely just on big heap of poo all mashed together like you stepped on it with a boot....honestly. Some of these guys just need to go and lay out in the yard.

The more and more I keep looking at our line the more I think we should stick Carey at either RT or LT and leave him there. Quit moving him around. Yeah, it's great that he can fill in at other positions but he'll never dominate until he's given ONE position to focus on.

we went D heavy in this past draft....I think we can expect a O and specifiacally O-Line heavy draft hext year (besides, next years draft has TONS of O-Line talent coming out with possibly 20 total linemen going in the 1st 3 rounds..if all the good juniors come out that is)
