Patricia beat Belicheat without the benefit of an extra week to prepare. What makes anyone think he wouldn't make his familiarity with Miami count in this one?

Patricia knows Miami very well and he had the benefit of a bye week to prepare also. He came in with a very good game plan.

Also didn't help that the fins had played an OT game in the Miami heat the week before. I think that had a bearing on the game too.

We ****ed up big time.

D took the day off.

Gase is a fool as a play caller. Run on 3rd and 10??

I’m starting to think Gase got this job on the laurels of the success in Denver. Of course, it’s not like had Peyton Manning or anything.

Terrible. Just terrible.

Facing two straight teams coming off a bye was odd. I wouldn’t call it unfair but I’m not sure I’ve seen that before.

Oh well.

That's the only way he got that job because of his work in Denver and anyone who knows better knows that gase wasn't running that offense it was Peyton Manning

Unknown TE plays like the GRonk and scores twice while basically looking unstoppable. It kind of makes you wonder if Gronk is really that good or do the Pats and their offspring know how to use the TE better than anyone else in the league.

Enough with the excuses. Every team faces adversity. Good teams scheme and play through it.

Lions are better than Fins. Much better overall talent on offense for sure. They win 7 or 8 times out of 10.

Was his gameplan knowing that we just couldn't stop anything they did on offense? Detroit didnt do anything special, we just flat out sucked

Another slow start which is frustrating (we dug ourselves in a hole) and I was very let down by how bad our run D was . We let that young back of theirs look like Barry Sanders! Oh well onto Houston on a short week.

I dont think that's true at all... other than QB Miami has more talent than Detroit does.

This is nuts. You’re probably really smart, but this statement is absolutely wrong. I was mainly referring to the offense but overall too, Lions are still better. QB we agree on. At WR, Golladay is a top 10-15 WR right now, very young and an ascending player. Give credit to Miami for scheming well to stop him, too bad they let their no name TE pick them apart. Tate and Wilson have a similar skill set, but Tate has proven himself year after year and mostly stays healthy. And they have Marvin Jones...c’mon man. They let Johnson look like a stud. Their o-line is ranked higher; top 5-10. Not too sure what you see...

I’m not wasting my time on D; but Lions are ranked in the top 10. Miami overall bottom 25-30.

The Lions beat us physically on both sides of the ball. They came to play and our team looked like a bunch of wussies on both sides of the ball.
