we trade Beck to the Ravens for their 3rd

1. Ryan QB

2a. John Carlson TE

2b. Jonathan Goff ILB

3a. Darrell Roberston OLB

3b. Chevis Jackson CB

4. Jordy Nelson WR
 
No way in hell would we trade beck and no way in hell would Baltimore trade for him when they already have troy smith who showed alot of promise toward the end of last year
 
Interesting mock, I don't know if Beck would go to Baltimore but I wouldn't say there was no way in hell it would happen, stranger things have happened.
 
A: The Ravens have two younger QB's in Boller and Troy Smith
B: Right now nobody gives us a #3 for Beck
C: We need D-LIne help, your draft does not address that.
 
I'd bet the Ravens sign Trent Green if he wants to give it another go. No way anybody would give up a third round pick for Beck at this point anyway.
 
I'm pretty excited about what the Parcells era could bring to the table, but if he traded away a QB that we spent a second round pick on the year before for a third round pick this year all because his first season wasn't off the charts, I think I'd lose almost all of the respect I had for him in a split second. The list of QBs who have had terrible first years is pretty extensive (and includes Peyton Manning), and Beck was basically trying to do it alone.

If there is that much buzz around Matt Ryan, let someone trade up and get him. Us taking him makes no sense.

You would lose all respect for a guy with two rings and whose style of football and coaching tree has completely dominated the NFL for the last 6 years all because he got rid of a 2nd rounder? I doubt he's going to be let go but cmon man
 
Yeah, that's probably a gross overstatement on my part, but I would be extremely disappointed and would likely look at the new regime with a lot less enthusiasm than I would have before. That has nothing to do with a choice to draft Ryan. As I've said elsewhere, although I think it's the wrong pick, if Parcells & Co. thing it's the right move, I'm more than willing to jump on the bandwagon, but to actually get rid of a highly drafted QB that is going into his second season just seems like an utterly ridiculous notion. Give him a chance, see what he can do and if he's not the right fit, then cut him loose.
