That's what lost that game. The stories all week about Chris Chambers whining saying he had to get the ball. The media continually harping on it. Then it was obvious, the interceptions caused because Harrington trying to force the ball to chambers.

Happy Chris, you got your first 100yd game?

This team will never win a championship or go to the playoffs for that matter until all the egos are checked at the door.

This is such a team of individuals, they didn't deserve a win yesterday.

I really hope Chris is happy, he caused this.

I could have sworn that is what everybody wanted . . . throw the ball down field . . . right? By the way . . . who in the hell was Joey throwing to on that second pick? Did he see the blue on the Jville uniform and thought he was a Lion again?

Didn't matter, we have to get crissy the ball no matter what, or he'll whine and moan all next week about not getting the ball.

Doesn't matter? Throwing an INT on our side of the 25 yard line with less than a minute in the half doesn't matter? Please the whole team played bad but there was no excuse for that second INT throw and that broke the teams spirits and hopes. Chris showed up yesterday . . . he made some big catches, recovered the onside kick . . . it was Joey who made 2 fatal errors that completely turned the whole game around . . . don't blame Chris for Joey's mistakes . . . they were on Harrington.

Yeah, it was all chambers fault. It was Chambers fault that the D couldn't stop the Jags, it was chambers fault that we rushed for 68 yards collectivley, it was chambers fault that Joey threw 2 picks. TechPhinatic must have been watching another dolphins game...Maybe we could have won without passing the ball to chambers for his 121 yards...Oh wait, too bad he recovered that onside kick and didnt fumble it so we could blame something else on him...

I don't know what your motivation is, but the INTs are Joey's fault alone.

If Joey is allowing the MEDIA of all things to dictate where he throws the ball... he is more pathetic then I thought. Sure... the guy that gave us the most offensive production is the reason why we lost the game...

You my friend could not be anymore wrong when you accuse Chris of being a baby and whining for the ball!!!!

Chris has spent the last seven years here playing very quietly and not making a fuss when they did not get him the ball nearly as much as a top ten wide out should get it. Chad Johnson, Randy Moss, Eric Moulds (in his prime) those were guys that would piss and moan about not getting the ball enough.

So please don't say idiotic things like Chris is a cry-baby begging for the ball.,...that completely exposes you and shows a lack of knowledge of the situation.

EXACTLY...This thread could be one the most inaccurate threads I have ever read

There is some truth to this post. Harrington played badly and shouldn't have forced those passes. But we had a brief discussion about this in the VIP chat and several people agreed that Harrington may be feeling so much pressure to get the ball to Chambers, that he made crucial mistakes to do it. The pressure wasn't necassarily from the media. It's human nature to want to please someone. Harrington knows Chambers has been complaining and he knows that Chambers was a pro-bowler last year. There is some influence there. But that doesn't excuse Harrington for doing it. He played badly. HE made the wrong choices. On the first INT, he had Booker open on a slant. Harrington chose instead to try to squeeze it to Chambers. It was a combination of a bad decision and a good defensive play. The second INT was plain dumb. Terrible throw.
Again, there could be some truth to the original statement. (SOME). But this is one of Harrington's weaknesses. HE can't let himself be influenced or pressured into mistakes, no matter what the source. He's got to get the ball to the guys who are open. One player is not bigger than the team and not worth trying to please at what it cost us: the game.

Are you saying that Chris Chambers is a top 10 wide receiver?

Please. The guy has had 1 1000 yard season. He is an underachiver 90 percent of the time.

And there is some truth to this thread. Most of the time Joey has thrown picks- they were passes to Chambers. He either drops them, or gets deflected leading to an INT.

I know Joey makes some bad decisions. And he is to blame for most of them. But I just think its funny how Joey has a few good games and at the same time Chambers isnt getting any balls thrown his way.

You knew that it was in Joeys mind yesterday to get Chambers more involved in the passing game. But to force that to happen leads to picks. And thats just what happened.

One good game man . . .just one . . . against the worst secondary in the league and a team he knows very well . . . not to slight that performancee on Thanksgiving . . . but he hasn't been impressive to say the least.

Yes Chris ability wise---- when getting the ball--- is top ten, he proved that with his complete domination over the last part of last year.---I'm not a Chambers homer or anything he has his faults that is for sure.---My point is he has NEVER throughout the majority of his career been a "me first" player---And it is crazy to suggest it.--As a matter of fact I can recall multiple articles through the years that reiterated that fact---Heck they even suggested that maybe he needed to be MORE vocal.

I think I agree with the OP more than I really want to admit.

We had an offensive scheme that was working and overcomming our quarterback's shortcomings. It was pretty dink and dunk and it wasn't anything spectacular, but we seemed to be consistantly making progress down the field and winning the field position battle.

Then, this week, I read all the threads about Chambers wanting more deep balls and I started to get a really bad feeling about this game. Come the game, the deepball wasn't really clicking, but we stuck with it and we got Chambers his catches, but we lost.

I'm not saying the loss is on him - the QB needs to make those throws (and not make that HORRIBLE throw in our own end), but why complain when you're winning games? I don't get it.
