that didn't have a National Broadcast. The Titans were the other team. With this late season sucess, I think it's a given we will get a National Broadcast this season, hopefully a few Monday Night games. :)

Either one will be fine by me. Kids and wife will be asleep and I can enjoy the game in peace.

With a win today, we'll be an intense 9-7. That's about 1/2 a season of rebuilding. Most coaches need 3 years. We should EASILY be fighting for 10-6 and an AFC East title right now. With that in mind, I feel that the NFL will give us back our due that we (deservingly so) lost from last year. I see 3 Prime Time games for the 2006 season.

the Monday night schedules are so bandwagon-y that their matchups always suck because they go with who they think will be good.

Miami has precisely one losing season in 16 years, their first since 1988, and they go from 2-3 national broadcasts to zero. Ugh. That's why I had to watch half the season in the bar, due to the fact that here in Orlando, the secondary market is the JAGUARS for some reason (even though I think both fans of the Jaguars in Orlando wouldn't mind us watching Fins games)

I know I'm in the minority here but I hate night games. I always have to take the next day off from work because after I unwind once the game is finished, It's about 3am and I'd be useless at work.

I'd gun for a Sunday Night since it'll be shown on NBC.

Not everyone has ESPN.

Any National Telecast is fine with me. If you don't have ESPN you'd better get it if you want to watch Monday Night Football.

Sounds like a good excuse to me.

As every head coach says........give me every game at 1pm on Sunday's and I will be happy.

I know that it sounds like a good problem to have but I'd rather use my "sick" days when I'm going to do something more fun than sleep in all day. :)

I prefer day games as well (I think football is one game which doesn't work as well in a night context), but the reason I liked the national broadcast is that I have cable and the more nationally broadcast games, the less games I have to go watch at a smoky bar with NFL Sunday ticket :/. I can see every other Fins game here...AS LONG AS JACKSONVILLE ISN'T PLAYING ON THE ROAD AT THE SAME TIME.

For that very reason, I got the dish and the Sunday ticket. The funny thing is that soon after I got the ticket, NY banned smoking in all public places so I wouldn't have had to deal with the smoke. But you still wind up shelling about $30 bucks for beer and food. IMO, the Sunday ticket has been a worthwhile investment.

I'd like it but I don't have a dish. And in Florida, having a dish is real goofy in the rainy/lightning infested summers. :)

Would you pick Sunday Ticket over having HD cable?

DirecTV charges an extra $10/month to get HD. In my area, cable GIVES you HD for free with their package, so any national games would be in HD. Of course, I'd have to go to a bar to see any non-nationally broadcast games.
