Will you abandon ship or go down with it?

I intend to go down with the ship. I've made a commitment to this team and won't stop supporting them just because our RT is nuts, Aponte is sleeping with Philbin, and our OC uses a high school play book. PHINS UP!!!!!
 
Glad to see you're still optimistic??

Had season tickets for years and years before we went 1-15.
Had season tickets for the 1-15 season and still went to each home game.
Had season tickets for the disappointing following years....

Why would another bad year change that? Shoot you'll even see me 11/11 in Tampa supporting our boys.
 
Depends on what you mean by "Go down with it". Will I still be a Dolphins fan? Yes.

Will I emotionally invest myself in the games anymore this season? No.

The way I look at it I made a commitment to this team in 1972 and have lived up
to my end of the deal. They, however, have failed to live up to their part of the
bargain.
 
Yeah gotta stick with the team. The 1-15 season almost did me in but sooner or later you keep thinking, "It's going to be our year." If the Cub fans can deal with 105 years without a championsip, I can deal with 40.

I will always stick with my team win or lose. Just hoping for more winning. Tired of watching this team crash and burn into a huge disappointment every year.

I am too young to have been around when this team was a Champion. The closest I have every seen my favorite team get to a Superbowl was losing the AFC Title game at home in embarrassing fashion just over 21 years ago. I still try to have hope every year and of course every year ends in disappointment.

I just wish this team would show something to give me some hope for the future.
 
The two sporting teams that are closest to my heart are Newcastle United and the Miami Dolphins. Both seem to adopt this philosophy of continually disappointing me, with the occasional glimmer of hope that has me thinking that good times are just around the corner. Both team's glory years are well in the past, (Newcastle haven't won a thing since 1969, and last won the big prize in English football in 1927) and are currently teams that appear to be going nowhere this season.

But I'm stuck with them, I wish it were easy to change allegiances and follow a "winner", but if you truly love the team you follow that's just not possible, you are stuck with them through high and way too frequent lows.

Tonight could very well be painful in front of national cameras in prime time, but however much they embarrass, I'll be back next week hoping for a change in our fortunes.

Going to Raymond James too. Still represent Dude, spend Cash on Travel and new Dolphins swag even though our Front Office and Right Tackle our all Laughs. This is what loving the Dolphins will do. Drive you nuts. Hope we win tonight? Not counting on it...

Aponte is working with Philbin - there's a difference.
 
If the ship is sinking, then I'm not going down with it... I'll be drilling more holes in the bottom! I feel that the only way this team will be good again is to replace the coaching staff, and I'm okay with whatever it takes to accomplish that.

The Dolphins SUNK under the Wanny administration Titanic style. The ship has never been resurrected, so technically they can't be sinking again
