The Miami Dolphins are the healthiest team in the NFL so far,

Probably the easiest schedule we'll ever see in our lifetimes AND we're relatively healthy, if it were an average year we'd certainly be in the running for the top pick, and Tannenbum's seat would be much hotter.

Make no mistake about it Joe Philbin ****ed this season more than anyone in this organization.

This season was messed up the moment Ross bought the team

Soooo the Sport Science thing isn't B.S.?

To a degree it's not, but there's a good deal of coincidence as well. Sports Science can be done without being soft, Fins have failed to realize that.

I partially agree with this last part. When you have customized "things" like drinks etc for these "warriors" it does make you wonder if it softens them up. Especially, when they're supposed to be a tough hard-nose football team.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But, aren't tough football players supposed to ailing and in pain most of the time as part of the game? Isn't that also what makes them nasty and mean and want to kick the opposing players butt? Pretty much because i don't feel well and your messing with me?

Just a random thought...

Not merely this season. It's been a long term trend, despite plenty of whining around here. I can't remember the last season in which we weren't fortunate in terms of injuries. We've been among the least injured teams in the league in all the studies that look at that type of thing, using various criteria.

Contrast to the Colts, who never seem to catch a break. This season it hasn't been as bad overall for them but obviously Luck is the centerpiece.

When I was a teenager I remember one late '70s Dolphin season that was so brutal in terms of injuries that my goal every week was not to lose a starter to a season ending knee injury.

Does this include players on IR? We may be physically healthy but this team generally IS NOT mentally healthy. Never have been

While I can believe the Fins were healthier than many other teams around the league, it is hard to understand how the Ravens or Pats are in the top 3.

The Patriots seem to have practically their entire starting roster on IR and are primed for another Super Bowl run... Just goes to show the value of a great HC and QB in this league (and perhaps a sprinkle of cheating)
