Hey Guys,,,,,I was just thinking how far the NFL has evolved during the past 75 years and I was wondering what do you think the NFL will be like 100 years from now. Here is my take on what the Dolphins will be like in 2110...sorry about the date...headline typo.

1. The Phins decided after 25 name changes in their history to permanently name their stadium Bill Parcell's Stadium in the year 2050, after Parcells lead the Dolphins to their record 12th Superbowl Championship in the franchise's history.

2. Bill Parcell's Stadium is located on the former site of the Orange Bowl, replacing the run down stadium that the Florida Marlins vacated in 2028, which was heavily destroyed by Hurricane Fred in 2025. Parcell's Stadium holds 120,000 fans and has been the largest stadium in the NFL since Cowboy's Stadium was imploded in 2048. Every Dolphin's game has been a complete sell out for the past 57 years, and there is a waiting list of 32,000 fans to get season tickets.

3. Steroids are no longer banned in the NFL and have become totally legalized. The average NFL player is 7 foot tall and weighs 320 pounds with 2% body fat. The Offensive and Defensive lineman weigh an average of 380 pounds, but most of them can run a sub 4.5 40 yard dash and bench press 500 pounds. Most Wide Receivers run the 40 in 3.9 to 4.1 seconds.

4. After many years of questionable rule changes Paul Tagliabue IV, the great grandson of Paul Tagliabue, was elected Commissioner in 2080, and he issued a proclamation which removed many stupid rule changes issued by Commissioner Goodell during his tenure:

A. No more Brady rules....NFL players can tackle the QB any way they want to, and if the ball comes out of the QB hands it's a fumble whether he meant to throw it or not.
B. Stickum has been legalized once again.
C. Defensive backs also are allowed to bump a player at anytime and there are no pass interference calls.
D. The late hit on the QB rule has also been eliminated.
E. Overtime rules have changed and both team now get a chance to possess the ball in OT.
F. A minor league NFL system was created in 2050....the top three teams from the minors get promoted to the NFL each year, and the the bottom three NFL teams get demoted to the minors (to keep teams from purposefully losing at the end of the season so they can get the top pick).

5. The Dolphins are still in the AFC East with the NY Jets, New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers,,,,,the Bills moved to Los Angeles in 2015, and folded as a franchise ten years later.

6. Dan Marino is still considered by many to be the best pure passer ever, but there are now 20 QB's who have thrown for over 60,000 yards, due to the lax rule changes which protected QB's in the 21st Century.

7. Miami became the permanent site of the Superbowl in 2075. No other place or stadium has the atmosphere of Miami so the owners voted to make this the permanent site to decide the NFL's Championship.

12 appearances in the Super Bowl would suit me just fine. If the team wins one or many of those games, consider it a bonus.

You ever seen Starship Troopers? Something like that with freak ugly females playing. Not females like Diz.
