Do anyone knows the progress of the Mitchell kid...Saban IR in training camp I heard he was the real deal until into he busted and torn up his knee at his pro day...I also heard he could had been a late first rounder ...do anyone knows his progress.:dolphins:

Im pretty sure he is healing fine and will be good and ready next season, and hopefully they work him in slowly

He wasn't going to be a late 1st rounder, even with his great speed he was probably going to go late 2nd if he really impressed with his speed, last years draft had more than enough speed at the CB position.

He is healing well and will be ready for mini camps and so on.
I think he could be a good nickel back, but he could turn into a great cover guy with that speed but at this point it is all speculation.

Prolly would have been a 3rd or 4th rounder as his best skill is returning kicks. He was a WR for 2 years, but switched to CB his last two. He started to get a knack for the big play. He's very raw as a CB, but he has the required talent.

As he tore up his knee 11 months ago he should be almost completly rehabbed by now. He will prolly replace Welker in the kick returns. We really need some more speed there.And as Saban doesn't like guys who just do ST's he will get plenty of work prolly at dimeback.

They came close to activating him from the PUP list before finally deciding to be safe and put him on IR, so he'll probably be ready soon if he isn't already.
