1st Round Pick #25
Darius Bulter CB-Uconn-Has speed, strength, hips, ball skills, supports the run, and can even play a little WR. I think he is exactly what the Dolphins FO is looking for in a player.
2nd Round Pick A
Michael Johnson OLB/DE-Georgia Tech-His physical attributes say top 10 pick, but his passion for the game says 7th round pick. But you have to believe Tony Sparano and Bill Parcells can get the most out of this kid. He might even be slected before this pick.
2nd Round Pick B
Kraig Urbik G-Wisconsin-Versatile offensive lineman who could play at either guard spot or right tackle. Having an option like him gives the Dolphins depth on the O-line they need. He will compete for a starting Guard spot.
3rd Round Pick
Darryl Beckwith LB-LSU-I think he is a better ILB propspect then Laurinaitis and the Dolphins are able to get him in the 3rd round. He knows how to take on blockers and maintain his gaps.
4th Round Pick (From RAIDERS)
Ramses Barden WR-Cal Poly-Has the size and strength at WR the Dolphins were looking for when the aquired Ernest Wilford. He will be an excellent redzone threat. Would not get a chance at him with the Dolphins previous 4th round pick before the Satele trade and wil be lucky to even get him at this spot.
5th Round Pick
Frantz Joseph LB-Florida Atlantic-He is just a football player who knows how to play ILB. He is not going to wow anyone with his physical attributes, but he will wow everyone with his production.
6th Round Pick (From Raiders)
Mark Parson CB-Ohio-Excellent short area quickness and ball skills. He will be an excellent nickel corner to follow Wes Welker everywhere he goes in the slot. A steal in the 6th round.
7th Round Pick A
Herb Donaldson RB-Western Illinois-Ultra productive in a small program. Won't exite anyone with his speed, but works hard and knows how to find the holes.
7th Round Pick B
Edwin Williams C-Maryland-The Dolphins need a backup center and they get one with their last pick in the draft who has tremendous upside. Williams is a maller, but not very effective pulling or blocking downfield.
