Did anyone else think it was over after that playcall, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ricky to throw it in the endzone, are you freaking KIDDING ME!~ and dont give me this oh if it worked I wouldnt be bitching, all I know is Ricky was getting 5 to 7 yards a pop during that 1st drive, We could of been up 21-7 Thats what lost it, another BADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD play call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I would have understood this call a little more if Ronnie were in there, but even then, it's still incredibly stupid. Why do we always happen to have the absolute worst luck with these kind of things?
 
Ill tell you why, Because we are stupid,!!!!!!! every time in a crtical moment of a game, right before we score, or at the end of the game, it continues with bad play calling, and its getting worse
 
I agree. It seems like after that, our defense progressively got worse. After a poor drive and bad punt by Buffalo in the starting minutes, I thought maybe we'd be able to experiment a little, but alas I was proven wrong.
 
at that point I knew we were going to lose this game...we were on the two...Ricky stated he's not comfortable throwing but will if asked...so I don't think he was given the option to Run...when this happened I immediately got that stupid feeling
 
Yep. If it wasn't for that call I am completely convinced we would have blown them out. F*ck Henning.
 
You know what frustrates me even more. I am watching a great Pittsburgh and Baltimore game right now with envy. Both teams are playing the way we would want our team to play. Tough receivers not afraid to catch a ball with both hands in the middle, excellent tackling, momentum flowing play calling; and I ask myself why can't my dolphins play with such, I don't know, moxy? Grit? Anyone else think this while watching other teams play?
 
Calling a play like that in that type of situation is retarded. Why would you have a RB that is killing the Def by running the ball, on first and goal from the 2 yard line, a RB that doesn't feel comfortable throwing the ball. Makes no since at all. IMO the only time that you should ever do a half back pass is when there is at least 20 yards to the endzone. This opens up the field and prevents a cluster in the throwing area like when it happens when theres only 12 yards of playing field. IDIOT CALL
 
The head coach has a play sheet in front of him, and a head set on. He agreed with the call and let it happen, it's just as much his fault if not more.
 
I have to agree with you. As soon as it happened I turned to my kids and said that is going to change the momentum of this game. ANytime you ram the ball down a teams throat and give it up like we did, it hurts. Althought the Ronnie fumble in San Diego wasnt a "trick" play, that killed us as well.

By the way, why in the heck do we call a trick play after manhandling the Bills defense on that first drive? That was stupid!!!!!!!!
 
That INT did not change the momentum of the game, it was the first drive of the game. we still had 3 1/2 quarters to play. Even if we did score, we still would have lost by 10 points. Get over it. It didn't work, move on.
 
I don't understand why we did that. It makes no sense whatsoever. The only reason I can think of is you want to give them something else to worry about or maybe you want to make the Pats have somthing else to prepare for. Regardless, it still doesn't justify it. These were the Buffalo Bills we are talking about, terrible against the rush. Pound the ball in, finish the drive, take your points and demoralize them. Instead, we give them an easy pick and instead of demoralizing them you pump them and the crowd up.
