They have absolutely no viable in-house coaching candidate... zero none not only single ex head coach. How could any team assemble a coaching staff without an ex coach with all the rethreads out there. So you fire your head coach or lose him to an accident or something and you're down to a positional guy for an head coach.

That isn't remotely the most depressing thing about the team. Not winning a playoff game since 2000 is the most depressing thing.

yeahm that too! I remember that game last yesterday.

This owner and his thought process and decision making is the most depressing thing as we just keep replaying the process.

Being owned by that dope Ross is the most depressing thing about the dolphins

Nothing will turn up for the Phins until the franchise is completely demoralized. Our only hope is that Carolina or New England finish undefeated superbowl champs. That is all Miami has- the 72-73 season. Once that can no longer be pointed to, then the franchise will be allowed to rise again. Marino was easier to kill (metaphorically) than that undefeated season.

I get the feeling that since Joe P. didn't like players questioning him, that he would not like ex HC's questioning or threatening him with their experience.

you probably right.

most depressing? I that next year will be hear before you know it, and I will fall in love once again with the proverbial girl that will break my heart. I loved the game Lamar Smith had for us in that last play off win.......

Most depressing thing is that I was 7 years old the last time they won a playoff game. I'm 22 now.

At the same time, my family is from Boston and their team has been one of the most dominant teams for most of my life.
