"The Cowboys always collapse late in the year this doesn't count. Let's see the Dolphins do it again next week"

After hearing all year how this would be the beginning of the December collapse of Miami. (Even though that was last week apparently). You know this is coming. Hell I probably planted that idea in our more "Special" fans heads.

Well **** that. Go out and Beat Dallas. Get in the playoffs.
 
i guarantee you nobody wants to play a healthy miami team in the playoffs..
if we advance in the playoffs, that will quiet everyone
 
Only speaking for myself, and I'm definitely a scarred, bracing myself for letdown fan, if they beat the polk I will become vulnerably excited again. Beating Dallas will be a very high quality win.

What's with the nuanced pre-bitching? Who gives a flying fish dick about what the narrative will be? Let alone, who cares enough to start a freaking thread on it? Get a grip and Phins up!
 
I think Buffalo gave us a game plan on how to beat the Cowboys. Stuff their run and eliminate quick reads and big plays. It is pretty much the same way teams try to stop us. This should be an interesting game as we are similar in many ways. I am glad it is in Miami!

If we win I would be fine with that narrative
 
It will be a very tough game. After Dallas's bad loss last night, they'll be gunning for a W. Our D will definitely have to put up a performance like this week against a much better oline. Cowboys ' defense is real solid but if we move the ball and avoid 3rd and longs and self-inflicted wounds we could certainly prevail. I hope McD is burning the midnight oil this week.
 
Honestly the Cowboys game is going to get immediately glossed over if we win, because it will set up a battle for the AFC between us and Baltimore the following the week. If we beat Baltimore, we’ll also need to beat Buffalo to hold onto the 1-seed and not be considered chokers.

The only way the narrative is not going to be obnoxious is if we win all three of the next three games.
