i can see a LOTTTT of Screen passes coming to him.

and another thing, he said he doestn want 330 lb 350 lb GUARDS but rather Tackles. So taht means usually its four counter plays, screens, thigns of that nature. if you notice our lineman we drafted are about 302 lbs n such. So I see Hadnot C, Satele LG, POSSIBLY toledo or moroman (SP) at RG, SHelton n Carey at T. thats 2-3 300-320 lbs G n C if i recall Hadnots weight that is. I like it a lot. They can get off the jump quicker now against DT so the pocket doenst collapse nemore.

BTW, Kalil for sure woulda been our guy had Panthers not jacked him, i was soo madd when i saw that ****.

i dont think so. Randy said he was targeting our guy because of his experience playing more than one position.

I don't quite understand why there was/is a lot of hostility towards the Lorenzo Booker pick from a lot of fans.

Anyone who watched Leon Washington make fools of us Christmas night and noticed how much he helped the Jets last year should see the value in that pick, especially since Booker is supposed to be a better, more talented player than Washington was coming out.

Exactly! Anybody who was at that game sees the value in this pick. Regardless of your starting running backs (and no argument we have two great ones), a third down, change of pace back, who can catch the ball and make people miss in space is a really special piece to add to the offense. Its something we truly lacked. Leon had a huge impact for the Jets, and Lorenzo can play a similar role for us and add another weapon that Cam can incorporate into the gameplan. I loved the pick, absolutely loved it.

As for the offensive line, Cam did say that, he said you want your biggest guys playing tackle and not guard. It makes sense - I felt we did need to become slightly more athletic inside. Guys like Anderson and Jacox could hardly move. That starts with Toledo, and now Satele.

Satele was ranked the #2 center. Looking at his video, he is very quick off the ball. Quicker than Hadnot. Although you generally don't want a rookie center starting.... Satele could snatch this spot away from Hadnot. Especially in a transition year like this, where a whole new offense is going in.

Moriman(sp?) ranked as the #3-#7 center(different scouts). If he's really the #3 center... then he's got a shot at being pretty good.

One of Satele and Hadnot will start at center, the other at guard.

Mormino will likely backup inside, as he can play G or C.

Oh I feeling all warn and fuzz inside

you guys are starting to see the light!

are we talking about Guard and Center play

lol

jk

I like the pickups at G and C, but the Phins desparately need some OT help.

I wish they would pickup Gabe Hall, OT, Texas Tech, the guy is a monster and we have a good history with Texas Tech players.

Also, with all the Hawaii players they might as well make it a clean sweep and get Dane Uperesa, OT, Hawaii.

50% of all running plays go through the center. I would argue it's more important than Guard.

I saw an interview with Lorenzo Booker about a week before the draft, and I was really impressed. He's a very, very smart guy. I was jumping for joy when we picked him. I don't know if he'll be a star RB... but he's a quality football player with speed, agility, and a nose for open space. Great pick!
