Once again, the NFL "insiders" are talking outside both sides of their mouth, just like the Lockout coverage, Harbaugh pursuit and Fisher pursuit. At this point, it is obvious that these "insiders" know just about as much as you or I. They simply throw stuff out there to shape opinion and hope something sticks. There is no accountability because we will never find out the truth about the situation. They have free reign to say whatever they want to keep people engaged with the story and clicking on their links and selling ads.

Before wednesday, Miami was the "favorite" to land Manning. Sound familiar? Now, suddenly Rick Sanchez chases Manning down the street in a chopper and Miami is off the list? OK...

Its almost as if the media hypes up Miami in all of these situations only so that they can stick the knife in and create a spectacle of the organization later on. Its like a WWE presentation.

I think we would all be wise to ignore these so-called experts and not gobble up every little tidbit of "inside information" as truth.

That Madden picture is so inaccurate, how in the world is Colombo holding his block?

its just like the coaching search. these guys have no info so they have to create babble to pass the time. one guy says one thing and from there it just keeps getting twisted. then it becomes a laughing stock, so they drum up some more bs. and so on and so on. i'll be glad when its over.

it's a double edged sword. it's their job to dig through everything and speculate. everyone wants to shod they have better insider info.
we complain yet we crave the information and speculation. none of this bothers me because in reality these guys are not
getting much from the actual source. just enjoy the entertainment value of it

What's really amusing is watching all the forum fan boys buy into the crap reporting, and watching the speculation from these reporters turn into "fact". Then when the "facts" turn out to be false, everyone will then start whining about what a terrible owner Stephen Ross is and how incompetent Jeff Ireland is. Its a funny cycle and it happenes every year.

This circus could be better described as an amusement park..complete with a roller coaster and merry-go-round.

And yet none of the reporting actually makes a difference when you think about it. This guy says this, that guy says that. It's as relevant as the size of the last dump Schefter took.

just a recap on a few things reported by esteemed media.
1. peyton doesnt want to play in the nfc- he is scheduled to interview with arizona
2.peyton doesnt want to play for a cold weather team- he is scheduled to interview with denver today
3.peyton is losing interest in miami- he is scheduled to interview with miami

How come on this site the reports that seem the most reliable are the ones that favor us getting Manning lol just saying.
I seriously doubt peyton has made up his mind, im sure when he sees the offers and puts that into the equation then he will make up his mind
