I just wanted to start this thread about the officiating of yesterdays game.

First issue I had was the double unsportman like on browner and gibson. The dude gets slammed to the ground and says something to browner and they flag him for words? I mean if thats the case then why didnt brady get flagged when he got hit legaly by one of our DB's? I mean come on man. Theres no double standard with the patriots.

Tannehills 2nd int the pats DB clearly hits our receiver before the ball gets there and hits his helmet because the defender has already made contact.

Week in and week out this season it has also seemed that opposing offensive linemen get away with more holding then a newborn gets. Wake and Vernon dont get anything called consistantly.

I understand the dolphins arent the best team sound team but how does the nfl expect fans to stay interested if the league officals arent consistant. Theres no reason to throw a flag because of whom the player is, it should be based on play itself. I mean the league created a rule soley based on Tom Brady. To me thats a conern. The NFL is going down a dark road.

The officiating is the least of our worries right now. You should take out your frustrations on the coaches and players. They are the reason we are 7-7 and stuck in perpetual mediocrity -- not the officials.

Not putting this loss or others on officiating but it's terrible league-wide. We aren't the only team getting screwed.

Example: sf/seattle, roughing the passer or something where the 49ers player has a textbook hit on Wilson and flagged. The announcers couldn't get over how bad of a call it was either

I was actually trying to get this post across as a league issue. I watch alot of Bronco games living here in Denver and I can tell you they get alot of fluff calls. Call's Miami, or Buffalo of Tennessee ...etc wouldn't get 80 % of the time. My point is no matter if your're a great, good or average team, officiating should be equal league wide.

The league is fixated on who the player is instead of the actual play. A Brady to Gronk or Manning to Thomas play is going to be more under the microscope then your average QB like Tannehill to Wallace or Orton to Watkins. If it's a penalty it's a penalty, not who's name is on the back of the jersey.

I'm just simply implying that the league isn't consistent and is bias towards certain teams.

I mean look at that Pittsburgh game a few years back where Rothlesburger fumbles into the endzone we recover it and they get the TD. That was a close game, we weren't getting our asses kicked. How do you explain that without being Bias? How do you explain the Tom Brady tuck rule to a Raider fan?

The Broncos and Pats get the benefit of the doubt because of their standing. Sucks but its true. That Donkey game yesterday everyone saw the pass interference right before the half on Chris Harris. The ref even sees it, goes for his flag, then for absolutely no reason decides he's not calling it. That was NBA style there.

Usually the refs don't matter too much but seems like they usually hit Miami with awful penalties at the worst possible time. I think it's more bad luck than bias for Miami, but I think there is bias for Denver and NE because of their QBs.

Every time we score i'm looking for a flag....it's that bad.

Gibsons play was boneheaded. They'll let you get away with some talking and stuff but he went thru players to get to him and who knows what he said. I could see a flag being thrown there. The pi calls being missed happens quite a bit I'd rather have that than a bunch of flags. At the end of the day the pats came out at the half and completely dominated nothing was gonna change that.

there was a time when don shula got every call, i remember a play vs the patriots long long time ago when irvin fryar caught a long bomb against us and ref waited tip he got all the way to the end zone before he threw the flag, even as a dolphin fan i felt bad, cause it was pure bull****...thats how the Patriots have it now. Did anyone notice that they were borderline late hitting thill all game long, u know if you touch the prince you will be served and fined

The call on Gibson was the correct call. Browner was flagged......Gibson had a few choice words and was pulled away by his teammates. That would have ended it and we would have had a first down.....except, Gibson went back for more. That caused the offsetting flag to be thrown.

There was no excuse for that. Gibson is seasoned enough to know that in that situation, we needed a first down. He screwed up.......

Overall, the officiating has been sketchy most of the year. All these ticky tack penalties are tough to watch.

any michigan state basketball fans here? i feel like the refs hate every team i like. maybe its just me, but...

NFL confirmed it was the wrong call. How many games will the NFL let Hochuli decide before they replace him!

I was furious at the no call on the interception that should have been a interference call. The WR was hit clearly before the ball got there. It did not cost us the game, but it certainly took NE momentum to the blow out level. If we score on that drive maybe the teams mindset is better. I don't know. Hell we got our arse kicked...but the ref blew that one.
