most of us on this site have common sense and realize that the off-season lasts until we go to camp in july, but there are still some of you that don't get it. free agency is less than two weeks old and the draft is a month and half away, but there seems to be an overwhelming sense of impatience in the room. I want miami to sign and draft all the best players too, but I am realistic at the same time. I believe our team is headed in the right direction, finally, with a strong GM that's able to do what he was hired to do and do well. not to mention a strong mind on both sides of the ball. Yeah, some of the cuts have been hard to deal with, but if it makes the team stronger in the long run and keeps us good for a long time, then i'm fine with whatever the team decides. All i'm asking is please be patient and reserve judgement at least until we see what the team looks like going into camp.

Splendid Post

We are all impatient but you hit the nail on the head. If we go nuts and sign a billion players (like the Redskins are so accustomed to doing) we won't end up any better. There is proof that you can't buy a team. You build one, mainly through the draft and have a sprinkling of FA's who can help sure up certain positions and provide veteran leadership for the younger players. I'm honestly very excited with the fact we have 3 picks in the top 60 (I might be off on that) and let's see how the draft goes. I think our Oline will be addressed there, along with the secondary and maybe a developmental QB in the third or fourth round (I don't really see us getting Trent Green, too much $$). We'll probably get another WR via free agency but it will require the right price. Let's all take a collective breath and it release it, or have a drink :drinkers:
