I think we need to have Ted Ginn on the field a lot more often than we do. I know, I'm nuts and an idiot. Listen when we are splitting Joey Haynos out wide more than some of our WR's that is a serious, serious problem. What we're seeing now is teams going all out to stop the run and WR's who can't beat man to man coverage. Ginn can do that. Ginn has had his share of drops but he's not alone and seems to be the only one who gets punished for it. It's pretty clear now we are not going anywhere in 2009, I say let Ginn start and play as much WR as possible. Please don't say Patrick Turner's name. The coaching staff wants to win more than we do if he were any good he'd be out there. The bottom line is Cam and Bess will not scare anyone and Hartline is a rookie. I'd rather have a WR who can get open and may drop the ball running patterns than WR's who can't get open and might drop the ball but that's just me.

Also, has Devone Bess ever had an effective punt return in his career as a Miami Dolphin? I think Ginn should be getting those as well. After 2009 we can run Ginn out of town and get some really WR's to go along with the 3's and 4's we currently have but right now I believe we need Ted Ginn. I was on Patsfans.com after the game and you know what I saw. A poster said thank god they don't play Ted Ginn more often because he is the kind of WR who can hurt us. Instead we send 6'8" TE's out into patterns, CRAZY.

On a different note on some players being punished while others are not what about Jason Allen? The guy gets put in man to man coverage with Randy Moss last year and gets beat, just like Allen and Goodman did, and he never sees the field again until Vontae Davis gets hurt then he is sent right out there again to go man to man with Randy Moss. What is with our coaching staff?

Ginn is the 4th best receiver we have right now just ahead of Turner. I personally would make Ginn a full time returner and let someone else take all of his WR duties. Or just let the ladyboy run clearing routes for players prepared to catch the ball... well players who catch the ball more.

The guy played himself of the field for a reason, and even when he did have a chance to make a play, he didn't. It's time to let it go !!!!!

It wouldn't hurt to have him out there as a decoy or some other nonsense, like as part of a 3 WR set. Let him pull a corner and a safety deep and out of the way.

Just don't count on him making a big catch for you, it won't happen.

we shed both welker and chambers for squat and then sit by and let moss ,owens and braylon edwards into our division for a song. a conditional 3rd and 5th for edwards? how come our F.O. ain't pulling off these deals? makes ya say hmmmmm....

They also gave up Chansi Stuckey and Jason Trusnik for Edwards, who hasn't even signed an extension. Really, the Browns fleeced them. The Jets special teams has really suffered after losing Trusnik.

I'm with you....let Ted Ginn run down the field on every play....just sprint, sprint and sprint some more....

Guys Ginn was out there as a decoy several times. The sad thing is he broke open on several fly routes and was never looked at. I am not defending Ginn, nor saying he deserves a shot. But the x's and o's of football tell me when he is isolated single man with no safety help you throw to him on the fly route. This will open up a lot of options for the rest of the offense. We need to do this to back the defense off the line and out of the box.

Until this offense develops a vertical passing game we are never going to reach the next level!

WOW.....

99% of the public just can't remember squat...

We traded Chambers.....and used the draft pick to get = Chad Henne.

We didn't have a choice about Welker. We tendered him at a 2nd round pick, and the Patriots took him. That was also the previous regime, if you can recall.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. He will make some of those catches. Just to be clear I am not a Ginn lover and agree with running him out of town after 2009 but for now if we don't have a better option than Joey Haynos then for christ sakes play Ted Ginn. We have a great running game and we're inviting defenses to stack 9 in the box because our WR's are absolutely no threat. Crazy if you ask me.

Sadly Ginn is the only consistent deep threat we have but how can you justify giving him more playing time when he doesn’t perform? What kind of message does that send to other guys who bust their butt’s during practice to try and earn a few more plays a game?

Ginn had a chance to earn more playing time but as usual he couldn’t get it done when it mattered. How long before Henne stops throwing the ball in his direction?

The big problem I am starting to have is we are not playing to our strengths. Fine you want to go with Cam, Bess, and Hartline. Then lets go 3 wide spread out the field and let our big line have and advantage. Instead we see Henning starting every game with Bess out wide and Haynos and Fasano on the same side in a 3 point stance. Guess what the defense does? Single cover Bess and crash the line, which means there is more defenders then blockers. They crowd the lanes and take away the holes. That is why we are seeing Ronnie and Ricky getting tackled for no gains. Very simple get the defenders out of the box and now you create space to run in!

ginn is the only player with 100 yards in a game.. devone has no speed.. brian hartline has dropped as many passes as ginn this season. Ginn is our best reciever, along with greg cam. Greg has the hands that if ginn had, would be elite.. Ginn will be a dolphin next year. watch!

i dont ever remember Ginn dropping the ball this much in the past 2 years tho, its gotten pretty bad this season...

I saw people blaming Hennes throw for Ginns missed catch over the middle and people say "well, hartline missed an easier catch on the play before it and they wouldve never been in that situation"....i mean come on really?? this is what your defending Ted Ginn with? some of you are just crazy...i understand your a fan of him and want him to do good, we all want him to do good but when the guy sucks and makes a habit out of it you have to face reality.

i really wish he would just catch the damn ball and run with it...is it that hard? Evidently it is, but it shouldnt be...for a guy with his speed he should be burning defenders. Hes so worried about getting hit hes always taking his eyes off the ball. He needs to stop being so damn scared. He "should/could?" be a weapon but he fails to do what wide receivers get paid to do and that is catch the ball with consistency.

I wish Ginn had the hands of Cam and i bet he will be a dolphin next year...i wouldnt be surprised...If he can catch the ball he would be a good number #2 or 3 receiver maybe. Hes just not a number one, he hasnt shown or done anything to prove that he is. I mean even if he had great hands and he did catch the ball hed probably dive to the ground or run out of bounds.

He had 2 kick returns that helped us against the Jets and i was happy about that but his poor play at receiver is far too much to overlook because of those returns.
