Wow, NE beat Cincy very convincingly, so we stand no chance at all. I guess the week before Denver didn't do the exact same thing to NE?

You cannot compare one week to the next week. I know the Pats should be favored but just because the Pats handled the Bengals and we looked crappy against the Texans, doesn't mean we don't have a shot. We usually play the Patriots pretty close. I think the team will come out with a little pride and play better.

Pats won't score 41 on us. :o

Yeah, it doesnt look good at all.

I dont know whats worse. Watching the Fins, or watching the Canes.

We always play the Patriots tough no matter what and if we shut down their running game the Fins will win.

not an excuse of being the paties. if thats the case we should play every team liek we play the patsies and if the dolphins play the patsies with more convictions than they play other teams thats a problem because that means they have the ability and fail to do vs others

we cant score more than 15 points against the Texans?.. It will be a mircale to beat NE.. especially since they have signed a player on offense and defense from us recently is a death nail in our coffin.

We will suprise everyone this week. This is the week when we will start making plays. We have to, it is time to step it up, eliminate mental errors, get rid of the ball on time, and score more than our opponent.

I don't have much optimism going into this game, although it will probably be close, just because these Miami-New England games always are. Look at 2004.....the Dolphins were 4-12 and the Patriots won the Super Bowl, yet Miami played New England very tough at Foxboro and even beat them in Miami.

Yes, we usually play the Pats close. And the Pats also usually beat us, close or not. We haven't beaten them in a game that matters since 2002 in Miami.

Since then, we lost at NE in 2002, got swept by them in 2003, lost at NE in 2004, beat them in a meaningless game in Miami in December of 2004 (which for some reason every one seems to think ranks among the greatest games of all time), lost to them in 2005 in Miami (in a game that decided the division for all intents and purposes) and beat them in another meaningless game in NE at the end of 2005.

Whether by one point or one hundred points, NE is winning on Sunday.

Are you saying that the Dolphins have the same weapons as Denver?

BZ

Our only shot is to pretend it's the 2 min warning drill from the 1st quarter. Maybe get out to a lead. Our brand of crapball is best played with a lead.

If nothing else, play with some sense of urgency the entire game. I'm tired of watching our guys harvest butt hairs for 3 quarters. I don't even know what that means.

Oh yea, such a nail in the coffin to have them sign players we let walk or outright released. Get grip seriously.

Similar weapons. I say that would be an accurate stament. Now, am I saying the weapons are functioning the same? Not at all. But the same type of weapons yes.

And what I was trying to point out, is that you can't base next week's game completely on this past weekend's result. If that were the case, then NE would have got blown out by Cincy.

I would tend to agree with you.

And I fully expect to lose this wknd.

I have heard that it was deafly silent in our locker room after yesterdays loss.

I personally think were in for a long year, and I think that we have absolutely 1% chance of postseason play.

But I will say this until I turn green in the face, Nick Saban is the right man for this team long term, bottom line.

We will find out what we are made of against New England, but even if we do pull out a miracle win in NE, will we have enough left to go up to NY and win?

We have little room for failure there is a lot of pressure right now on this team, and we will see if pressure brings out the best or worst.
