It's a no brainer our D was pretty poor this year.
It's also pretty obvious this team lacks a #1 WR and reliable TE.
But is this team REALLY settled at QB? Will the QB position be open to competition next year or is it handed to Henne, who was...good and bad (=mediocre) as a whole for a second year QB.
Plenty of tape, youtube, etc on Thigpen to evaluate (saw on post earlier this year).
Sparano's success or failure will be dictated by no other position more than the QB position. Will he really let Thigpen compete fair and square for a starting role?
If so, why was PW the #2 QB as a rookie with no NFL starting experience?
Thigpen had NFL starts and threw over 300 yards last year against the Fins.
Would this seasons record and outcome been any different if Thigpen had started?
I doubt it.
The starting QB position should be open to both Henne and Thigpen come next season, if it is, we just may see a change.
