Who would you choose if you had the magic wand to make (poof) go away from our team?

Maybe it's been the last few games where I've really noticed him, but Jimmy Wilson must get in a car and drive away somewhere (Just not to N.E.)
 
I knew Wheeler would be mentioned, but Jimmy not only gets beat, but caused like 3 penalties in the Ravens game. But yes Chubs, there are 2 players that make us better for getting rid of them.
 
I would put the following names in a hat, and then draw one out:

Philip Wheeler
Dallas Thomas
Jimmy Wilson

Really, those three stand out to me as being players who simply aren't good at all, and on top of it, contribute a TON of penalties.

I thought about adding Brian Hartline to the list, but I still feel like he's a player who can contribute in the right situation, but that we just don't feel like putting him in the right situation anymore.
 
There are just so many choices. Jimmy Wilson, Dallas Thomas, Wheeler. Wilson probably infuriates me more than either Wheeler or Thomas because you can sense with the latter two guys that the problem actually is that they're not at all good. They're just not NFL players. With Wilson it's more that he's a loud punk who consistently plays with bad technique and is a terrible tackler. That makes me angrier than a lack of talent.

The sad part is you can pretty much count on Wheeler being here next year because of the way his contract was written. Gotta hand it to his agent, actually. He knew that the goal was not to get Wheeler the most money per year, but to structure the deal where he's basically impossible to cut because eventually everyone wants to cut Phillip Wheeler. That's knowing the merchandise. :lol:
 
Really, I agree with Walrus. Dallas Thomas is awful but I think even he realizes that he is awful, and is trying his best.

Jimmy Wilson is just a schmuck.
 
Thomas of course but to say we only need 1 player gone? I know that's not what the OP meant but we need to get rid of about 15 players
 
I don't want to see Wilson, Wheeler, or Hartline on this team anymore. Enough.
 
Wheeler by far, but Wilson & Hartline as well.

Wilson is like a 3rd string guy. There are plenty of plays when he runs up but chooses not to try and make the tackle if ANYONE else is around.

Satelle ran all the way down the field and made the tackle on the int, he put a lot of those guys on defense to shame.

The level of effort seems to be lacking ona number of defensive players. Arm tackles and no real effort to RUN to the ball have cost us the past couple of games.
