There is one stat that I haven't seen anyone metion....

This year, the Dolphins were 4 - 0 in December. When was the last time a Dolphins team was 4 - 0 in December?

Honestly, I can't remember!

I said the same thing at our fan club today. 4-0 in December says to me that ANYTHING is possible during the postseason. The Ravens are playing great football, but we so are we. Next week is going to be a tough one, but if anyone can do it it's these Dolphins.

Yea, you're right :) But, I went back to 2002 and the only time they have gone 4 - 0 in December was in 2005 and this year in 2008. I wasn't able to find anything further back than that.

yeah, Saban did it, then we went back to the bottom the next year. He quit, Cam came in. We lost. BUT, before Saban did it, it was like 10+ years since we had a winning record in December.

Ok, did some more research on this stat and went back to 1972 to see how many times they went 4 - 0 in December. Don't drop your jaws on this....

1972, 1974, 1978, 1981, 1983, 1985, 2005, 2008
