............... besides the fact that we had the opportunity to seize the Pitt game, the only thing worse is the righteous section of the fan base telling other Dolphins fans who the "real fans" are. Just because you share a different perspective doesn't mean you're the "real fan." You're just one with a different opinion so get that straight.

Everyone, should try to keep one single game in perspective about any unit or individual you are down about following the game.

If we as a collective whole simply used the Browns game from last season as a definitive measuring stick we would have "guaranteed" a complete and utter waste of a season. 0-16 most likely.

But facts are, that is was just 1 game, adjustments were made, execution improved, and we strung together 6 straight games with a Win. So then if we as a collective group used those 6 games as a measuring stick we swear we go undeafed 16-0, we are unstoppable, etc.

It doesnt work that way!!

The outcome alone isnt the measuring stick, its the execution of each and every play individually, combined with them as a series to measure and make adjustments for the next play, next series, next quarter, next game.

We will make adjustments and improve on our execution. Its as simple as that.

I completely agree with you. Just because you think Duante will fold in crunch time(he will), does not mean you are a fair weather fan, that makes no sense. I am as big a Fin fan as there is,but I thouhgt from minute one, it was a catastrophic mmistake getting duant over Brees. It does not make me any less of a fan.

Some posters just aren't mature enough to show perspective, flaw, but not stripping them of "real fanhood." The problem you have with all this game is all the hype, all the lack of respect shown towards Pitt prior to the game by alot of these guys.

That's all I am saying.

How many people are on this board who were praising the Fins and Culpepper all offseason? About 90% of our fans on here said he would be awesome as would the Fins. Then, the team plays just a single game, and what happens to that 90%? It falls to under 50%. That's not being a real fan, it's called a fair weather fan. And if you represent yourself as a fair weather fan, I will call you out because it's truly ridiculous. I don't want to be associated with those people who only show up when times are good. Fair weather fans are a joke and I can't stand them. The sad thing is, last night showed a lot of true colors. I was shocked to see that over half of the Fin heaven population are fair weather fans. That's the only thing worse than the loss IMO.

It Is Not So Much That They Are Fair Weather Fans....i Attribute It More To The Fact That They Are Young, And Know Very Little About Football In General.

By all means do so, but that doesn't mean you're in the right to do so. You're making a concious choice to decide what real fanhood is and you simply are not in position to be. Attempt to change opinions, but that's it.
