The rest of the season, in a big way, hinges on the health and play of quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Simply put, he's playing for his Dolphins life. If Tannehill plays close to what he did in the first three games then any talk of drafting, trading for or signing another starting quarterback is likely off the table.

On the other hand, if he continues to have huge swings of ups and downs or injuries affect his play, Miami is looking at an entirely different situation.

Which raises the question. If you are running the front office and determine that the team needs to look elsewhere at the position do you look to the draft, trade or free agency? Nick Foles is the big name regarding trade possibilities and would likely cost at least a #1 draft pick. The team could look at young backups and maybe go that route. Mason Rudolph?

The draft is always a bit of a crap shoot and the Dolphins look to be headed to pick somewhere in the middle of the pack. Which quarterbacks do you prefer from this draft?

What would be your preference?

Big no to Foles. But I believe Gase knows his future with this Franchise hinges on him finding a young guy to hang his hat on. I mean his guy, someone he drafts. It'll be this draft. This team will never be more than average with Tanny.

Well first things first, we don't even know when/if he'll play again this year. I heard today that his injury is getting worse, not better.

Were in a time where young QBs are coming right out off College and succeeding almost immediately. We have watched Tanny for years be average at best and there were always excuses, new coaching staff, injurys, lack of talent around him but always the same results. Its time to move on, like I said before, with the recent success of young College QBs I think you have to make a move now. Cut or trade Tanny, weather now or in offseason, Draft a QB and let Oswieler start next year. Draft and sign some guys along both lines. Draft or sign a RB. I think Gore retires.

I'm seriously not trying to toot my own ****ing drunken horn, but you know what, I ****ING SAID THIS GOING INTO THE GOD DAMN DRAFT.

That said, our QB situation sucks, Tannehill makes us mediocre at best.

College QBs coming out this year ****ing blow.

Time to hibernate and wait until 2020 when we can make a play for Tua. Stock up picks this year. Trade our First rounder for multiple picks in 2020.

Pfft.

Love my Fins, STOP ****ING SUCKING!

Tannehill's no savior, never has been. Miami has only collapsed under his leadership at the end of the season. Better off finding a genie bottle and starting rubbing it as expect him to be then solution.

I never thought I’d be saying this but statistically osweiler is outplaying Tannehill. Maybe the play calling is limiting exposure but Brock is beating Ryan at pretty much everything. I still think the ceiling is higher with Ryan but factor in money and I guess Brock is the better stop gap. Tannehill better be lights out IF he ever comes back.

At the end of the day I would have expected a huge drop off going from Ryan to Brock but is there one?

Roll with Brock the rest of year. He's played just fine in place of RT. Not a lot of pick from in next year's draft either
