Was actually Chad Pennington back in Week 7, when he went 24/35 for 295 yards.

Chad is built to play a 'Ravens' type team... Composed, mistake free and smart is the way to play aggressive defenses. He is a VERY difficult man to rattle and does not often give the game away. We need him to be on his game today...

Nice find btw.

A lot of those yards were in garbage time. But Chad is better suited to throw on this defense than anyone else in the league.

I just found it ridiculous that one of the ESPN analysts was saying that Chad can not be effective against the Ravens defense. He should do some research.

They don't watch the games, just the highlights. No one thought we were going anywhere this year, so none of the talking heads took the time to see what was really happening in our games. Everyone thinks we struggle to score, when the reality is that we go into a prevent offense whenever we have the lead. All these guys see are box scores and about 2 minutes of each game. They aren't worth listening to.

I watched the replay of this game on NFLN this week, and it was much closer than the final score indicated. There was no "garbage time" as was suggested. Take away the pick 6, which was awful and inexcusabe, and Chad has a great game which we win. He will not make those mistakes today, and the rookie unibrow will.

Our defense will stop their run today unlike last game, where we had both our #1 and #2 NT both out...... that's pretty devastating to a 3-4 defense, this game it won't be like that.

We need to run the football first today. Throwing for 295 was nice but only netted us 13 points and if I'm not mistaken he threw one to the other team that game. We have the two freshest rb's in football right now. RUN THE FOOTBALL!!

If he could do research, he wouldn't be woking at the 4-letter ! :sidelol:

You're implying that no QB played the Ravens defense better than Chad Pennington, that's simply not the case. How many of those yards came in garbage time? It's not like Pennington torched them like Manning did.

I mean you can throw for 500 yards but if you don't get a score all that effort will be worthless. In addition to throwing for almost 300 yards, he also threw an int for a td.
