Yes it's only 2 years untill they come up with a new Uni's in 2020 but the fans made their voices heard. We can only hope Miam can slide back into throwbacks.

IRVINE, Calif. -- Los Angeles Rams’ fans spoke and team executives, along with the NFL, listened.

The uniforms are changing.

This season the Rams will wear their throwbacks, a royal blue and yellow combination, as their primary uniform.

Rams president and chief operating officer Kevin Demoff said the change comes after fans wrote letters and tweets expressing displeasure with the uniform situation in 2017, when the Rams wore what appeared to be mismatched navy-blue jerseys and pants.

Its not a uniform change though. It is just allowing them to wear a uniform that they already have more than two games. That is all that is happening here. Moreover they are getting new uniforms in 2020. I am almost positive that that is the real reason the NFL has allowed the temporary change.

I've been told over and over again that this simply cannot happen. Huh.

Get on board with this Ross. They did it. So can you. That current uni is an embarrassment that can't be changed fast enough.

You know what that means then right? Not nearly enough people want the throwbacks as everyone thinks. That or thr Rams just have more pull in the league than the Dolphins do. I mean. They are in LA now and the League clearly wanted an LA team so bad that they now have two teams on the city.

I think merchandising money weighs heavily for a man like Ross. Plus it doesn't exactly make the decision to change it look like a good one. I'll personally never understand it.

Ross would sell 10x the merchandise if they went back to throwback. It's the timeless logo of one of the finest franchises in the league. Its a classy look, Whereas the current logo looks like bottom five franchise. Which we are pretty close to I might add

Actually he wouldn't. You make more by selling both sets. After all, the people that lived during that time aren't young anymore.

How? That uniform is readily available. I own a brand new hat with the old logo (as well as the new one). It isn't like that stuff only goes on sale when the team wears them.

Two logo's twice the options.

Yes clearly that "rule" is not set in stone.

I think it's time we start voicing are displeasure to people who take note instead of on here. It's time to get back to our roots and send our current uni's to the future throwback drawer.

I really do think the Rams were allowed to do it because they have more pull with the league. I'm willing to bet they paid off the right people and made the right promises to get this to happen. Plus on top of that they are getting new uniforms with the new stadium, so that helps their case.

Oh I don't doubt the Rams were given this , because the NFL really wants this LA thing to be a success. But it's going to open the door for them having to be lenient on their rules in the future, no doubts about that.
