TOTAL RECORD 72-74 32-2

The 2 losses came in the 73 to 74 year with 1 against the da RAIDERS and finally, I guess the COLTS got tired of us shutting them out...

Being an old fart like me, I like to remember to ole days... BTW, 1993 we were 8-2 before DAN-THE-MAN went down... We lost the next 5 games to miss the playoffs...

I feel the love and the Fins were that great, my question is does anyone here think the Colts would go undefeated without Peyton?? Because the Fins went undefeated without Griese. Earl Moral came in and played most of the games and Bob returned for the playoffs...that alone is something that will set Miami apart form any team that ties the record unless they do the same.

My first 2 seasons of following football. It's why my standards are out of whack.

Not quite as old LOL, 39. Remember the undefeated season, tho.

Sweet auto!

Unfortunately, I don't think the post is correct... I think the score of the December 9th Colts game should be 3-16, not 31-6.

I'm pretty sure about this... December 9th is my birthday.

December 9, 1973 was indeed a loss to the Colts in Baltimore.

Colts 16 Dolphins 3

I remember that 52-0 Patriots game. It was Shula's 100th career win as a head coach. I remember sports writers saying they though the Dolphins were trying to score a 100 in that one.

Shula says the 73 Dolphins would probably beat the 72 Dolphins... Remember those Raiders and Steelers teams they were beating in the playoffs already had most of those players from the great 70s teams. Miami was just better in the early 70s.

PS. That Cowboys team they beat in 73 had a hall of fame roster too.

You are correct.... Had the dash in the wrong place on the COLTS game in the 73 season... Sorry...:(
