The Dolphins have had no help from the receiving squad. This preseason the receivers have not helped much with the QB situation. I have nothing against these guys but the amount of passes that have been dropped is stupid. We need support from our receivers. Establishing timing and confidence is not going to come quickly with your star receivers dropping passes. It’s time for the receivers to wake up, and do there part to put this QB situation behind us. :yell:

maybe they're still not use to having a qb that actually gets them the ball...lol

The receivers havent been helped by the QB musical chair situation we have either. Its dificult to keep having to adapt to 2 Qb;s Thats why Chambers and McMike have been vocal in their displeasure with the Qb controversy. It affects the QB quite a bit.

This is a chicken-egg kinda question.... The recievers that are good..Chambers are hurt by QBs not getting the ball in a good spot for them to catch it...

Then other recievers are dropping easy catches..

Gus has started the last three prseason games, so I don't know what you mean.

David Boston hasnt had problems holding onto the ball as far as I can remember. Maybe I'm wrong but at least he stepped up to plate

If a ball hits the recievers hands it should generaly be caught. How does a different qb have any thing to do with a drop that was delivered in a very catchable position. That said If the recievers caught some of those balls I think we would still have a qb controversy and it would be which of these good qb's do we go with. Both qb's have had drops that killed good looking and potential point scoring drives. Fumbles have played a role also.

I would rather have that problem.

Everyone beside Boston has dropped at leat one ball. I know Chamber had dropped at leat 4 so far and DT has droppes 2-3 Gilmore 2-3 Booker one that I remember.......3-4 from Mcmike and Lee each.

Good Quarterbacks make Wide Receivers look good. Good Wide Receivers make Quarterbacks look good if they actually have someone who could throw the ball to them. I think there lies our problem. Our WR corps is above average in my honest opinion and I feel that Chambers, Booker, Boston, McMichael (3 Pro Bowlers and 1 Pro Bowl calibur player) are not the problem... our QB's are. And I really do feel that our receivers will make whomever our starting QB may be, look better than he really is.

The general reason IMO,is that different Qb's have different tendencies. Some throw right between the #s some throw harder than others, some just dont get the ball where it needs to be,so as a Wr. you have to adjust to what kind of Qb you have, and if the helm is constantly changing, theres no chance to do that.

We have dropped a ton of bals thus far this preseason..........5-6 of the at least 10 drops are caught and I promise you guys would look at the numbers and feel quite a bit more optimisitc.
