Last week, a lot of us incl me, were thinking season's over after the Bills loss. Now with this huge win over NE, we are right back in it. Kind of like last year. No wonder these posts are all over the place, there's bashing of everyone when we lose, props to everyone when we win. The words love, franchise, best, etc come with a win. Trade, hate, bench, cut, sucks, etc cover the boards when we lose. Except for Pat White who gets bashed on a win or loss for whatever reason. Dude barely even plays, so he doesn't have any direct effect on any of our outcomes, good or bad. Let's give the guy a fair shake, let him get some real playing time before we make all these accusations.

Anyway, our anxiety of a Dolphins season must have us all with high blood pressure, high heart rate. It'd be nice to get a 11-0 start one year for the sake of our health, & for the lack of negative posts here. But what fun would that be? We wouldn't know how to handle it. We're accustomed to suspense like no other team. We do it year after year, (excl Cameron year), with consistancy. Either get in the playoffs in the last week, or just miss them. My friends just laugh at me bc of all the comments that come out of my mouth during the heat of the moment. I'll be praising them when we're up, then I'll be hating & blaming when we're losing. But it's all said in the heat of the moment, & don't really hate any of our players. I do believe that a few need to be replaced, just a few tho. Ginn for one, bc he'll never be what we pay him for. But we're young at a lot of positions which seem promising, CB, QB, OL, WR. So I think we're on the right road, this off-season FA & draft will be very important on the future of the team, I hope we get what we need, we're not too far away at all.

For now, I'd love to get the division this year, or even a Wild Card, & just start 0-0 in the post-season and see what happens. I think with a win in Jax, we will get in the playoffs. If we win there, I can see us winning out with Tenn, Hou, & Pitt. If we can get a NE loss or 2 in there too..we get the division again...in very dramatic & suspenseful fashion...is there any other way for us? We don't sail or coast into anything, every game every week is a do or die game for us. Gotta love it.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
GET US THE DIVISION AGAIN!!!

Though historically we have had trouble with all of our remaining opponents, as of right now they are all beatable!!!

That's why the NFL is the best league in the business. Even in yesterday's game the heart attack meter went from low, to high, to low and high until the very last 30 secs of the game. It makes winning that much better though ;)

we're probably the only team that gives people heart attacks every damn week, always comes down tot he last minute & they are so good at blowing things you never know whats gonna happen

I been saying to same things to my buddys. Week after Week of this is having a toll on me........but I love it!

After being down 14-0 i was at the top of cussing heaven!!! i lambasted my TV and my neighbors!!! i was screaming at Sporano, Smith and Porter ... OMG if only my mother heard me!!! LOL!!! Jesus, i'm telling you, it's the same "CHIT" every week!!!

Disagree, he does more then enough damage...

1. Everytime he comes in, he disrupts Henne's rhythm.EXAMPLE: In Miami's 1st drive, we got 2 straight 1st downs, in comes White, fails to do anything, Henne comes back, and he was unable to get back in rhythm.

2. Pat White to this point, has not brought anything to the offense.
EXAMPLE: Pat White has failed everytime he has been brought in, except a couple of plays the 1st time Miami played the Patriots.

3. Everytime Pat White comes in and fails, he forces Henne into desperation play.
EXAMPLE: Last week, Henne was having a pretty good game, very few mistakes, then at the end, (do or die time) Henne is moving the team, could get us another important come from behind score, in comes White, fails, and then it falls back on Henne do get something done on 2nd down, close to his endzone, close to the end of the game, and the running game is not helping him anymore.....Henne has not choice but to force something, and then again needs to force something after being even further behind.
You need to put your young QB in a position to succeed, not fail.

4. Everytime Pat White comes in he takes time from Henne in getting comfortable, and learning how the defense is going to try to stop him.

5. Pat White is not as good running the Ball as Ronnie, so he will always fail, when given a chance to take over the Wildcat (wildpat).

I like Pat White, love his talent, but he is not succeeding out there, and considering we are in a very close race, against very tough teams, we can not afford to bring him in, and allow him to kill our drives when we are moving the ball.

its so true, the dolphins r the only team that week in and week out its always down to the last drive.

the last time i remember that i actually didnt need to have a heart attack during a dolphin game was week 4 this season vs buffalo, and then before that was week 3 vs the pats in 08.

besides that, every game i watch[ which is every game since 1999 religously] we r always in a nailbiter. it makes it extremly exciting when we win, but it also would be nice to have it once in a while in the books before the 4th qtr.

It's like that for most teams outside of the pats and Colts.

Tay...That's exactly what I'm saying...he's getting a play here & a play there. How's he supposed to develop? It's not his fault, it's the coaching staff, although I agree & support all our coaches decisions, the use of White I think is terrible. Your right, it screws up Henne's momentum to an extent but no different than Ronnie taking the snap on the Cat. But it's also screwing with his rhythm & development, he's not gonna be able to learn when he gets 1 play, then sits for 2 qtrs. He's a talented athlete, obviously with Chad as our QB, he's not gonna be our QB unless god for bid a Henne injury. So we have to figure out a way to incorporate this guys talent into our offense. What we're doing now is bad for him & the team. But line him up in some different schemes, & positions, & I think we can see what kind of skill he really has. All 4 of your points just prove further that there's no possible way to judge his talent, & value to the team until he's being utilized correctly. I'm not saying he's gonna be excellent when he gets more playing time, he may, or may not...but until we see it there's no way we can make a fair assessment of his talent. I believe he will be a valuable part of this team next year, but as a rookie getting a snap or 2 a game, with not even a good play call when he is in, gives us nothing to evaluate. So let's be patient, let hi
develop & get playing time...then we can see what we got there in that #6 jersey.

As for the up & down every drive comments, your totally right. We are up & down on every level from each play, to each week, to each season. Other teams do experience this also, but not nearly on a level we do...& the verdict is...We Love It. We love the highs & lows, celebrations & depression ruts. DolFans live off of it.

I really love that the medications entered the posts. Haha. That's hysterical. We're all popping something or drinking something to get us thru each week. I too go for the colanapins. I have to, or my shoulders tense up as the ball heads towards Ginn, or 3 & 7 with Henne scanning the field gives me palpatations. I need those things to keep me from having a breakdown or some kind of attack on my vital organs. Haha. The lives of DolFans, the greatest. But no matter what we do, what we take, we stay loyal to the Dolphins every minute, & that's the most important & honorable part of us. We may get mad & lay into a player or coach during the bad, but we're right back supporting them 100% the very next week, or even quarter. DolFans for life.

Well...my colanapins are kicking in...getting tired now...til tomorrow...Go Dolphins...zzzzz
