The running clock??

I saw a quick mention of it in the game day thread last night, but it really didn't get discussed.....at the end of the 3rd-beginning of the 4th quarter, it was like 2 consecutive plays where Gibson, and Clay ? caught passes and went out of bounds, (just before our last TD) but the clock never stopped? What am I missing here??

The clock is restarted when the line judge resets the ball except in the last 2 minutes of the first half and the last 5 minutes of the second half.
