This is what cost us the game. Those two points. First, whichever OC called that play needs to go immediately. Secondly, if that ball is not thrown high, do you think Waddle makes it out? Third, why not at least send a blocker out there for a screen, pick or rub?

Stupid call but i do think if it’s a good throw waddle makes it out. Once he had to jump he was done. It’s total Monday morning QB but he really should have batted that ball down but that’s asking a lot

Was it a forward pass?

I’ve coached another sport a long time. I know when I see a call that is a “I have no idea” call when I see it.

Look a lot of you guys hated Gailey, but he knew how to counter defensive moves and knew how to attack weaknesses. That’s what you get with experience. You also get someone that tries to force his concepts. It’s mostly good a d some bad.

Inexperience gets you some creativity, but it also can get paralysis in pressure moments, because they haven’t seen anything yet.

We saw overthinking and paralysis today.

The call was flawed, but the TE was open over the middle for room to regroup.I Blame Briskett ( yea i know that's not his name) for not looking the play off.

How can you not run it there to get some room. One of the worst play calls I've ever seen. That ball was already four yards into the endzone when Waddle caught it. Anybody see his stat line today? 12 for 58. 4.8 yds a catch. Those are RB numbers.

An OC doesn't call that play into the helmet. It must have been checked into when Brissett saw the coverage. I dont blame the OC for this.

Gutless bone head call. Changed the entire momentum of the game. Ebb and flow and momentum are not stats in a game but often have much more influence than actual stats in a game and deciding outcome. Get a 1st down or at least punt it out of there rather than give up 9 points in the matter of minutes based on a moronic call any middle league dad coaching his son playing daddy ball would still not call. Have does that coach not get eviscerated by Flores for his first befall awful game calling today. Instead we get coaches speak and the canned answers If having to make more plays out there. God I want Flores
Fired.

Secondly, if that ball is not thrown high, do you think Waddle makes it out?
Nope. Miami's receivers are almost always tackled immediately after catching the ball while standing still. Usually, the only time they can get yards after the catch is when the QB hits them in stride while they're running. This is why I can't understand why Miami keeps throwing at or behind the line of scrimmage. Those plays never work, because they have no blocking. If you want to gain yards, you need to throw downfield! Even a 4 yard pass play is better than throwing backwards and losing a yard or two.
