I have my ideas of what Sage may or may not be able to do this Sunday but one this is certain. I can predict how the reactions here on Finheaven will be. His whole career will be judged by this one game. He won't get a chance to prove he's good or bad (at least this week he won't), everything will come down to Sunday.

Scenario #1 - If He has a good game and the fins win the Mods may well just have an "I Told You So", thread ready and waiting to be merged 600 times.

Scenario #2 - If He has a bad game and the fins lose the Mods may well just have an "I Told You So", thread ready and waiting to be merged 600 times.

Scenario #3 - If he has a good game in a losing effort, becuase it was a loss their will be a half and half debate on how he is good and how he sucks.

Scenario #4 - If he has an average game in which the fins win, same as above.

Very few people will be able to take this game for what it is. Good or bad, it's one game and his 2nd start ever. That's it.

I may not be great at predicting football but this website is SOOOOOO predictable I wish you could bet it in Vegas.

If he has a bad game you forgot the 'Start Lemon - Merged 500X' thread.

It is going to be like Brian Griese a few years ago against the chargers who went 4-12 that season and then everybody thought Griese was our savior.WRONG!!! This is what is going to happen to Sage on Sunday, going to come out and shred a bad secondary and everybody is going to think he is the next quarterback for this team, but he will be another Griese.

If we had Griese right now, we'd be 7-2. Why? Because if you remember correctly, the reason Griese sucked here was because he was always getting sacked and always fumbling the football. The throws he made were tremendous, and behind this much improved O-line, he would be hitting the open receivers that Gus Frerotte seems to miss time after time.

I remember Griese throwing the ball to the other team alot and then fumbling the ball against the colts when we had a chance to win and had to pull him out of the Redskin game and put Jay in to come back and win it for us. He was also part of that blowout we suffered against Tennessee, what 35-7. He was not good here.

Right you are. I feel the pain that others feel tho, he failed here but not in TB...

Can't wait for the endless ultra intelligent debates as well as all the unfounded second guessing of Saban as well.

Mods use their MERGE powers WAAAAAY too much...

I think you need to place Saban pushing at the end of the bus...and Linehan pushing at the front of the bus....this way it would be more realistic!

That was my thought.

Then when Lemon craps out you'll have the "Bring back Brock Berlin" thread.

Reading many threads around here is comparable to reading the Weekly World News or the Natl. Enquirer for laughs.

I thought you guys were on your game good last week. You were shuting down stupid threads faster than I could call them so, and you were merging them quickly, very good job I thought.
