A 4 game skid is clearly not what you want but despite that we are clearly not out of it just yet. We need to play well Thursday and get that much needed win against a good Bengals team. If we can get that we will be 4-4 with the softest part of the schedule coming up. After the bengals game we are @ Tampa, home vs Chargers, home vs Panthers, @ Jets, and @ Steelers before NE comes to Miami. We could actually rack up some wins in this stretch. The last wild card spot is up for grabs between a bunch of up and down teams with us included. All this losing out for draft picks is crazy. This season hasn't went great but we are right in the middle of the pack and can still make this a success. I actually thought the protection was better today. The 4th Q sacks were bad but they were in late game throwing downs and is in my book irrelevant. Mckinnie looked really good plus Thomas and Miller ran good. Tanny must clean up the obvious mistakes. period. Right now he is holding back but things can get better. Everyone needs to back off the ledge a little bit and some have already jumped off the cliff but I really think it can be turned around THIS YEAR. Just let this thing play out. But I admit it starts on Thursday. This is a HUGE game.
 
Mathematically it isn't over but history says we are done. I see nothing here to believe we are any different than years past. With Gibson out the offense is going to be even worse. I don't see us beating the chargers, panthers or bengals and the jets game will be no walk in the park as it historically isn't. I see miami winning 3-4 more games and that is it this year. We have enough talent to stay in games but not to close teams including average ones.

I didnt see you mention the true reason why we are losing: the fans.

Until the local fans stop hating this team, we wont win another game.
 
I hated last weeks loss and I hated this one more but very few on this forum predicted we would win this game yet here we are reading thread after thread of people giving up on the team after losing a game they said we couldn't win.....go figure.

Lost me right there. No such thing as a soft part of schedule. Did you not learn anything after the loss to the Bills.
 
All we have to do is reel off 6 straight and everyone will feel better again
 
Bengals, Panthers, Chargers, Patriots, and Bills are better teams than the Dolphins right now. Jets and Steelers are close. They should beat the Bucs but you never know with this Dolphins team.
 
We are the soft part of the schedule for those teams. But I agree the season isn't over yet. It could be Thursday though.
 
Its really unfortunate that it isnt over yet. I cant do another 9 weeks of this.

The game today was a huge game. Next week is not. The season is done.
