It's very simple this week.

The MUST beat NE this week.

If they do.....all is well (as well as it can be).

If they beat NE..they ARE a playoff team and division title contender.

If they do not....

The season is over.

They will not make the playoffs (barring a miracle that the Dolphins never seem to get)

They have ZERO shot at the Div Title.

They will finish 8-8 at best.

It's sad that we are playing a do or die game in friggin' week 5.

I have to agree, If we lose this game, Ill be cheering for the Dolphins to lose all of their remaining games and finish at a 1 - 15 record...

With the first pick we should draft a great O-Line prospect such as last year's D'brickashaw Ferguson and forget about Brady Quinn

Im tending to agree. I did say before yesterdays game in a previous post it would be a benchmark game as to where we stand regarding our capabilities, with the oppositions talent how good we really were. Well we got what i expected. I expected close game which unfortunately we lost (i expected us to win). We will have to do something dramatic imo to win the next few games. Never say never but certain units will have to improve and improve to a level they havnt shown they are capable of at this moment. Culpepper, O-Line, Malarkey or DB's? I expect 2 of the 4 to improve but not all 4 in a matter of a couple of weeks to get us the wins. Hope im wrong. Brady does not like our D, lets hope he still doesnt after next weeks game.

I hate to agree but they have already dug themselves a huge hole. Losing against the pats will assure that they will not play another meaningful game this year. And if PEP goes out there on sunday as the starting QB...the game is all but lost before they even play it.

you guys tell me what you think if we lose vs the patsies everyone...EVERYONE will be playing to keep their jobs....

Please help me...where do you see 7 more wins ? Given the remaining schedule, if they win 3-4 more games, it will be a good accomplishment

I posted this in another thread:
Everyone talks about building through the draft, but O-line seems to be the biggest draft crap shoot of them all. Our line already has at least two first round picks that I know of, underacheiving. I can't think of any recent first round O-linemen who have met expectations. Not sure how D'Brick will turn out for the Jets, but I know Gallery is getting abused in Oakland. So should we trade picks or players for proven O-linemen? I don't like losing picks either, but at least you know what you are getting?

There is NO way we are going to beat NE. They are going to kill us. Sorry for being so negative, but it's the truth. And yes I'll still watch the game.

The season as far as the playoffs are concerned is already over. Of course record wise they aren't out of it but bottom line is that the depth of the problems this team has are not going to be overcome this year.

Hopefully they progress as the year goes on.
Culpepper hopefully will get better, it would be nice to see a couple of our O Lineman show they can be solid starters and someone in our secondary stepping up to show we don't need to completely overhaul it would be nice.

That's all I'm hoping for in this season at this point.

I agree with you Section, but by the way we played yesterday, it doesn't look good.:(

If "THIS" team shows up...we have no chance.

If the "real" team shows up..we can win.

There is no substitute for talent. The Fins have that. It's the little things that over power the talent.

Timing of pocket time for Pep shows that 2 sacks were earned....pep has to get rid of the football, he needs to stop holding it.

I am not even going to get into Mularkey...it would just be too obvious. Just think of it. Mularkey is actually getting paid to do the job he is doing.

I think we have a very good chance at winning in NE this week.

We need to win the next 2 games realistically. All the other teams in our division are playing better then us against most other teams.
