Yep that #6 D last season was overrated....gave up over 20ppg, shredded by any team with an above avg QB and couldn't make plays when needed against the sorry teams.

well at the end of the day the maestro himself said it (parcells). u are what ur record says u are, and its as simple as that we are 1-11 at home in our last 12 games with sparano. we havent had a winning season in 3 years, and we are 0-1 and just got carved up by one of the biggest offensive explosions in the 100 year HISTORY of the NFL. we have the worst defense in the NFL at this point. hey our top 11 guys might be fantastic, but if our 3rd and 4th corners could get carved up by a junior college qb. then it doesnt matter how good the top guys are, our defense still blows. gruden was right. play ur best 11.

I regret to admit that those saying our D is overrated are correct. Not just going on the Patriots game either. I also regret to admit that I have very little hope for this regime. I have just seen to many bad decisions. Having said that I am pretty sure our D will bounce back and I believe Henne will perform better in this new system. Not saying he will be great by any means but I think he will play good enough for us to have a decent playoff shot assuming our D plays like we know they should be

Uhhh...it did get backed up by the crap product put out on the field the other night. But I guess you were happy with that performance...
People forget that just a matter of half a year ago guys were on a plane recruiting a coach while Tony was still head coach. He hasn't changed, not from a preparation and decision making standpoint.
