I thought this would be a fun thread... it seems we are pretty much a two class party around here. The tanne lovers and the tanne haters. Its like we are Montagues and the capsules. We will just never agree. But seriously, even though this game was a good win, I still don't feel totally confident in our offense when we are on the field like say a Brady with moss and Welker run offense. Domination style. Also, this win was against the Jets. The jets aren't exactly good. I'm just saying don't go thinking we are going to go deep into the playoffs or anything. But damn it still feels good to get the W!!!! Especially against the Jets.

:emjai:

Tanny has improved every game for the past 4 weeks...Liked his footwork today as they slid the pocket to the left a few times...

It is going to be like this unitl RT comes out and gives everyone what we want to see from him. MULTIPLE PLAYOFF WINS. Until then he WILL be picked on by anyone. As of right now I am stuck in the middle. I do see improvements but god damn man HIT WALLACE WHEN HE IS OPEN and close games like you did with Atlanta. When he does this at least 75% of the time, well then, I aint worried about nothing.

Tannehill has a hell of a lot of potential and IMO he will keep growing and improving and fulfilling most of it. It's sometimes tough to watch him hit the pains but on the other hand its also nice to see him progress through them....a tale of two halfs today. Crazy.

Hard to say anything bad when he's had 5 five good games in a row now.

Absolutely not. He completes "x" amount of deep balls so ball placement is irrelevant. If only ball placement was an official stat...

The Jets have the leagues 9th ranked defense and Tannehill *ss-raped them all day. What do you need to happen to believe he is doing well considering his age and experience?

BTW Brady and the Pats don't look like Brady and the Pats + Welker + Moss either.

What good is a qb who breaks open the 1st half, then can't finish the second? He is learning, and I hate being patient. Like all fans we want to win now. It's not right to says he HAS to win close games late, but I want him to put it on his shoulders and get it done regardless. He needs better coaching. If he's our franchise, then it's worth it to get additional qb coach help. Someone out there can help this kid throw that deep pass.

Today's game was the total opposite.

Uhm... okay, you don't feel like we have a 2007 Patriots offense? No ****. How many teams in NFL history have had an offense that good? Two?

They went 18-1 with marginal defensive play that year.
