After serving his four game suspension, Ricky Williams has seemed to get better and better each week and there appears to be no doubt that he is outperforming Ronnie Brown at this point in the season.

Furthermore, I'm sure everyone remembers that Ricky is typically a back who's numbers only seem to get better as he carries the ball more frequently.

As a result, I belive the time has come for Ronnie to play waterboy and be content with 5-10 carries a game inbetween stints of delivering Gatorade to Ricky.

For this team to reach its full potential (and have any chance at the playoffs), our best players must play more frequently and the this policy needs to start in the backfield.

This thread takes away all of your objectivity and sensibility..

Umm, NO.

:monkeyr:this thread:monkeyl:

What do you have against Ronnie, aside from the Oakland game Ronnie was carrying the ball better than Ricky, plus he has better hands than Ricky. Don't get me wrong, I like Ricky in the game, but I definately don't think Ronnie should take a backseat to Ricky.

JUst read the thread I posted plus a couple of others he created. An 80 yrd 1td game by Ricky brought him back.

Wannstedt is that you?

 Horrible idea there dean_siu.

Also to say Ricky is outperforming Ronnie this season just goes to show that you actually don't watch the games.

Yeah, just checked it out. He has been an anti-Ronnie person from day one.

Check out these classic quotes by dean_siu:

I really believe that Ronnie Brown will struggle behind this offensive line and prove once again that it is the true deficiency holding this team back from winning on a consistent basis.
Why would you start a rookie who's averaging 2.5 yards a carry when you have a veteran averaging 4.5 on the roster?

That will be the case this year and that's why Ricky has to start.
Asked how many yards Ronnie would have this season:
378.....150 of that in the first 4 games while Ricky serves a suspension and the rest of it in backup duty throughout the final 12 weeks.
I still hope the Dolphins are researching the possibilities of trading Brown's rights. I strongly believe that to be the best option for the long term future of the team. Having a first round draft pick back up a future HOF running back does this team no good this year or in the future. Get some future picks and use them to assemble a strong offensive line (something this team has lacked for a long time and desperately needs!)
:spit:

Another thread that is written for no other purpose then to get attention, try to get people riled up. Kind of like the "Saban sucks" threads, and the "Ronnie is a bust after 2 games" threads. Its sad...
