The Titans are good

When the Patriots were on their "Path to Perfection" I used to try and watch every game hoping they would lose. I hated seeing them win and didn't want to see them go undefeated, which they didn't in the end. With the Titans though, I don't mind seeing them undefeated. It really doesn't bother me. They are a very good team and if they do complete the second undefeated season in NFL history joining the Dolphins, I will welcome them.

I find the Titans season kind of funny. The Titans are 10-0 and a lot of people just kind of brush it off. It would not bother me at all to see them go undefeated (especially since it would be a good redemption story for Collins).

The Pats on the other hand were so arrogant in their quest last year, and ESPN was calling it since the preseason, I could not help but root against them.

I honestly hope that when the Pats start to lose a lot that Teddy Bruschi, Mike Vrabel, and some of their other old players are still there so I can laugh at their pain.

IMO the reason why people are brushing them off is because they get the job done by defense and efficent offense. No thrills, just smashmouth football.

The Pats got it done by high powered offense. They brutally beat teams, running up the score and had a touch of arrogance about them.

With the Titans you can sense they can be beaten. With the Pats it was hard to see anyone touching them.

They remind me alot of the Bears team in 06. Good D, do just enough on O to win the game.

I think they'll trip up and lose a game though.

Remaining Schedule:

11/23-NY Jets
11/27-@ Lions
12/7-Browns
12/14-@ Texans
12/21- Steelers
12/28- @ Colts

I really think the Lions can upset them. They're 0-10 and desprate for a win, plus its on Thanksgiving day (Lions always play pretty good on that day, Unless its Joey Harrington on the Dolphins playing them lol) Browns beat the Giants bad, Texans score alot of points, and the Steelers game is really tough and Indy is coming out there shell plus the Titans might rest the team that game while it can be a must win for Indy...I dont think they will go undefeated.

I think the Patriots did it in such a dominating fashion for most of last year that it was assumed. They were a pass happy team that would score seemingly at will most of the time. Later in the season they had a few scares against teams that were pretty bad but "punched them in the mouth." Baltimore and Philadelphia with A.J. Feeley weren't good teams.

I don't know if the Titans will go undefeated and I don't care. I think they fly under the radar. They've got a team that I think is going to be much harder to play because I think they're far more physical than any other team in the league. Plus I think that even though undefeated the Giants are the team to beat.

I hope Mercury Morris does not start embaressing himself and Dolphins franchise by showing up on tv this year.

Sounds like exactly how I feel. I like Kerry Collins, I hope they go far into the playoffs (perfect season or not)

I may be the only one, but I am not impressed with the Titans. They have had a very easy schedule. While I thought they would lose yesterday, the have to finish the year against IND and PIT. They will not win both of those.

While I don't think they will go undefeated, their defense sure is amazing. They remind me a lot of the type of Dolphins teams Jimmy/Wannstedt attempted to build during the late 90's early 2000's. Smash mouth running with a QB who can "manage" the game.

Oh and seeing Kevin Vickerson thrive on that defense kind of hurts (always liked the guy), but I'm happy for him.

Those points you make are why I think the Titans actually have a better shot at it. I dont think they will pull it off, but the Pats were doing it with high powered offense and throwing passes on 75% of their plays.

Meantime, the team that actually did do it, the 72 phins, did it with DEFENSE and RUNNING THE BALL. Which one is more like the 72 phins? This years Titans, or last years Pats?

Really there are no easy schedules in the NFL. And didnt people say the same thing about the 72 phins??? The Titans are erially similar to the 72 phins.

And if you arent impressed with the Titans, no offense, but you really dont understand football.

laugh at me if you want, but i think the dolphins could realistically beat them.
