Agreed it's deep in mediocracy!

About you original comment I don't think Chris Long is the best talent. I think he's the most polished technical player.

I think Gholston has considerably more upside due to the fact he's got by thus far on sheer talent alone. I think if he can be moulded under the right staff,and I know it's only an IF, he could easily surpass Long.

Long is better now but how long will we be saying that?

Despite all that I think Jake will be the pick!

Todd McShay definately think Ryan is as good as any qb drafted in recent drafts. I think Ryan and Brohm are a pretty strong top 2. Both of these guys are better prospects than any player we have on our team trying to be a QB.

I think your right, i mean people liked beck as a non 1st round qb he wasnt really considered a top notch qb entering the draft people thought he was a nice player but not an elite prospect and had red flags in his game that qb's drafted in the first round don't have. People here swear he'll be great b/c its who we picked but if we would have picked up any other qb they'd all swear that guy is gonna be great.

All I'm saying is Beck deserves a shot, because last season was not it. Thrown to the wolves at the end of the season on a team with no wins (at the time), a crummy offensive line, no running game, and no legit receivers is hardly an actual shot to see what he's got.

Ryan may be a fine QB one day, but he's absolutely not worthly of the #1 pick because he's just not that good and why waste the #1 pick when we already have a young unproven QB on the roster?

I'm on Beck's corner but like him or not...it'll be proven out on the field.not on this board....Bill,Jeff and Tony don't care what we say here...they'll go by what THEY see on practice and preseason games and then if Beck starts he'll still have tp prove that he can be the guy....I believe he can be a very good QB and said that before we took him....but nobody knows for sure one way or the other at this point.

The reason people had beck rated to go in the 2nd round was his ageother then that he would have went in the 1st round. This is a weak qb class and Matt Ryan will be good at the most like Beck but i don't think either will be great.

Big deal any player we draft could not pan out. Draft picks dont come with a money back guarantee. There is not one cant miss player in any draft. Hell Ryan Leaf was considered cant miss, as was Aundray Bruce
