Have you ever wondered why he either runs on every play or he throws it horizontally across the field to a WR?

Nothing over the middle, nothing down the field.

Pat White cannot see over the offensive line.

I even saw it in warmups today. He would basically play peekaboo, having to look in between the cracks in the line instead of above them.

Sad but true.

Terrible pick, i need to see no more. Thought it before, think it now.

LT 62 Ryan Stanchek 6-4 300
LG 79 Greg Isdaner 6-4 315
C 68 Mike Dent 6-4 285
RG 73 Jake Figner 6-5 305
RT 66 Selvish Capers 6-6 285

He never had too much trouble seeing down the middle of the field with those guys in front of him.

You can get away with it playing from the shotgun all the time in college....not from under center in the NFL....

He didn't have any trouble gripping the football in college either...but he does in the NFL...

He could outrun those linebackers in the Big East too.....but he cant in the NFL...

Need to get over what he did in college. What he did in the NFL should be the worrisome part for a high 2nd round pick.

Drew Brees: 6'0"

Pat White: 6'0"

I dont expect White to amount to much, but the short theory is debunked.

He's not a under center type of qb, that is just one of his many faults at qb.

You want to know the truth about Pat White........he blows.

Instead of looking up their heights....actually pay attention to their delivery points....

You can get away with having a lower delivery point in the NFL if you're 6-5 like Vince Young or Phillip Rivers and can grip the football...

Drew Brees delivery point is basically the same distance from the ground as Rivers is....and it took him a few years to get it there...

Brees has always been a pocket passer....White is a running back who was allowed to thrive in an option offense in college...just like Eric Crouch (Heisman Trophy winner bagging groceries now)....Brad Smith (WR in the NFL).....Reggie McNeal (whats he doing now?).....Tommy Frazier (Heisman Trophy winner...never played a down in the NFL)...etc..etc..etc...

no completions in a season sums it up !

White as a running back? He doesn't even weigh 200 pounds.

...I didn't say White AS a running back....I said White IS a running back...

AS IN ...his skillset is a helluva lot closer to playing running back in the NFL than it is quarterback.....he's been a running back all of his life until college....where he was STILL a running back...he was just doing it from the QB position in a spread offense...

In other words...he was a wasted pick....because if he can't play quarterback in the NFL (which he cant)...then he's done...

Pat White is a gimmick QB who is only useful in the WILDCAT formation. We all witness how effective he is under center...he was lousy. Why the Dolphins didn't use the shotgun spread offense like he is familiar with is perplexing to say the least. Right now he looks like a wasted 2nd round pick, hope the fins can get him to run some type of formation where he can actually move the ball and put points on the board.

The truth about Pat White... Hmmmm.

Doesn't seem like it isn't anything I couldn't have told the cheerleaders on this board a year ago. Nobody wanted to hear about his drawbacks when he was drafted though! Hate to say I told you so.................

Nah not really, I freakin told YOU ALL. WASTE OF A PICK.
