Though the University of Miami football team has seen better days, the program still rules the NFL.

The NFL announced Wednesday that The U has the most players in the league, for the third consecutive season. Miami has 44 players on NFL rosters, following 42 in 2006 and 46 in 2007.

And Florida colleges continue to dominate the NFL landscape. Florida State is second on the list with 37 players, and Florida is 10th with 30.

The top 10 most-represented schools in the league:

1. Miami — 44
2. Florida State — 37
3. Georgia — 36
4. Michigan — 36
5. Ohio State — 36
6. LSU — 35
7. Tennessee — 34
8. Texas — 34
9. USC — 32
10. Florida — 30

Is that the kicker Bosher again making that stick again

JK...lol

If that kid can't make it in the NFL as a kicker one day...he can always stick on a roster as a linebacker....lol.

And it looks as though we'll remain at the top of the NFL with Shannon's #1 recruiting class and these updates from ESPN: Not everyone was a fan of Urban Meyer's decision to kick a field goal in a 20-point game with under a minute to play. Missouri tight end recruit Sheldon Richardson went a bit further. He called it desperation. Columbus DT Antwan Lowery went to the Miami-Florida game and came away impressed by the Canes. North Carolina defensive tackle Curtis Porter watched freshmen Sean Spence, Marcus Forston, and Brandon Harris make plays for the defense all over the field and came away very impressed by the Canes.

Spence can hit like a Mack Truck.

He'll be one of the great Miami LBs before it's all said and done.

I can imagine that recruits at the game had to be impressed with the Canes . . . especially the defensive ones. Miami D played one hell of a game against Florida.
