I may be "preaching to the choir" but I still think Miami's offense is missing that big, physical receiver who can haul in a pass that might not have been thrown perfectly or go up and get that one in the redzone. When looking at the leading receivers in the NFL this year, in terms of yards, look how many have that size advantage.

Yea, its about half and half.

Antonio Brown, DeSean Jackson, Josh Gordon, and Garcon are perfect examples of why Mike Wallace should be at least top 5 in yards receiving if our QB could deliver a strike downfield.

I would really like us to draft Cody Hoffman form BYU in the 3rd or 4th of next years draft. Just what we need for a red-zone threat.

our biggest "physical" receiver we had was marshall.....and that went away.

2 1000 yard WRs, Clay at 700, and Gibson on pace for 800 before injury not good enough for you with the most inexperienced 2nd year QB ever?

You need the best of three worlds. A big WR, a deep threat, and a possession. We have two possession recievers and a deep threat that isnt really a deep threat, yet.

And the bears with three huge WR threats are also 8-7

I'm not sold on that. I'm not sure that has any correlation to winning whatsoever. All a "big" guy does is allow the QB to throw it high right? So you design routes that have them go high. Going high also puts a higher risk for int or incompletion. Sure, they also catch TDs, but at what cost? The three we have allow for the QB to throw to the open WR on any play. It's clearly helped Tanne's progression into year two. His timing is still off with Wallace, but I suspect that changes before next year.

I wish prime Randy Moss grew on the north side of trees.

Oh come on, even our 3rd and 4th receivers are better than what we have had in years! Gibson and Matthews would start for teams like The Chargers in a heart beat.

Let's find ourselves some OTs first...
