What do you guys think? Do we give Chambers another year at #1 or do we bring someone in to replace him / put chambers down to #2. we still have marty booker (our best reciever), wes welker who seems to be improving, and also derek hagan who this year has been a dissapointment . SO what do you guys think about chambers' future here???

What is it with you all and Juan Huron? :shakeno: It's obvious that someone that wasn't him made that account to make fun of him. [me thinks that Slappy was behind this.. lol]

I would like to trade for Jerry Porter, for a late 3rd-4th round pick, and trade away Chambers for an early 2nd round pick. [I know, I'm in fantasy land]

I just think it's time to part ways with Chambers, he just doesn't seem like he fits in this system. We need more physical receivers, a baller, that can run routes and create seperation with their speed. If all Chambers is good for is deep routes, then he's not a true #1 receiver. Just another Peerless Price.

I think we keep Chambers in the slot, didn't he play there last year???

I think Wes Welker is a great slot receiver, plus he's cheaper. He's our Dallas Clark/Brandon Stokley.

Chris Chambers is either a number 1 or 2 receiver, and I'm happy with Booker's production at the 2. Booker has managed to produce no matter who the quarterback is.

Just trade Chambers to Atlanta for an early first day pick. Atlanta loves his type. The one's the drop balls. :tantrum:

i really think chambers is still a BEAST at reciever but not really the possession type. i think we need a good #1 guy who always gets open on 3'rd down. then we have chambers at #2 who would be our deep threat,

also since we move chambers down to #2 he would be playing against less skilled cornerbacks/safeties, and maybe have more oppurtunity to catch a deep bomb.

Chambers makes waaaaay to much to be a #2... If we broing in someone to challenge him, either he takes a pay cut or gets traded

I like Chambers alot, he just had a not so great year, 3 different QBS, an soon as we get our starter he will be fine, but I agree with McMichael put Chambers in the #2 spot. However I still like Chambers in the slot and maybe move Welker to #2. JMO:D

Hagan is a rook and rook recievers usually struggle in first couple years. he needs time. what we need is a reciever that goes after the ball, a fighter. We do not have that. Chambers can make exceptional catches but rarely makes a routine catch. I personally would like a big reciever who fights ala Calvin Johnson or Dwayne Jarret. They would be nice "future additions" but like with Hagan, rookie recievers usually don't do that great right away. Anquan who we should've drafted is an exception. Booker is a very nice reiver and I really like him. I think he could be better with a big guy on the other side. Chambers is in his prime, but he has a huge contract not worthy of his overall production. He deserves much of the blame for not becoming cohesive with Joey Blue Skies as does Joey him self. Booker, who has never before worked with Joey has a nice cohesion! I also would like them to draft a little guy with blazing speed a WR/RB ala roscoe parrish, steve smith, darren sproles, maurice drew, the guy from the jets from FSU....so we can have that extra boost of speed. It's working for everyone else we should try. Even though saban prefers bigger and stronger we need quick and explosive playmakers.

He's only had one good year.

i think that we need to give chris one more season at #1 to play with daunte. if he still sucks, then we go to the market on a new #1.
