Denver falls apart and jets chiefs and miami go 10-6 miami has the tie breaker over KC so jets and miami get the wild cards
 
WHY do we want the NY Jets to make the playoffs again??? :confused:
 
If we don't make the playoffs, I sure don't want the Jets to go.

But then again, I never want the Jets to go.
 
Me, I'd love nothing more than to kick the arse twice in one season.... and put them out of the playoffs...
 
actually, that 3 way tie would hurt us. 1st rule applied to 3 way tie is one team per division with division rules applied.

And Miami would be the team eliminated because that would mean that we finished 3rd in the AFC East based on our division record. But I think he's saying that we and the Jets both go and then it wouldn't matter about tie breakers because he's saying that we, NY and KC all tie for the 5 and 6 spots.

I agree with Denver falling apart. I do not think the Jets will go 4-1 over the last five games. They are not that good of a team.

If Miami wins out...big if! Here is my prediction:

Miami 10-6...Wildcard 5th seed
Chiefs 10-6...Wildcard 6th seed

Denver 9-7
NY Jets 9-7
Cincy 9-7

Jax 8-8

Buffalo 7-9
 
With the 7 teams within 2 games of each other (records between 5-6 to 7-4), here's the breakdown of the remaining schedule of those 7 teams.

KC (7-4): @Cle, Bal, @SD, @Oak and Jax
Den (7-4): Sea, @SD, @Ari, Cin and SF
Jax (6-5): @Mia, Ind, @Ten, NE and @KC
NYJ (6-5): @GB, Buf, @Min, @Mia and Oak
Cin (6-5): Bal, Oak, @Ind, @Den and Pit
Buf (5-6): SD, @NYJ, Mia, Ten and @Bal
Mia (5-6): Jax, NE, @Buf, NYJ and @Ind

These 7 are battling for the 2 wildcard spots.
 
Get a little Lambeau majic and this week 'could' go very nice [except @ CLE, of course] ..... I don't have much faith in GB or SEA, but that's why they play the games ....

No matter what 9-7 won't get it done ....
 
okay no freaking way are the jets going into GB and winning i do not see them making the playoffs

denver and jax i can see choking cin has way to hard of sced

all we can do is pray and hope
 
Cincy will finish 9-7 and the only threats to us I think are the Jags and KC because Denver will get the first wildcard and the Jets will also finish 9-7 or 8-8 and Buffalo will fall apart.
